| Judul Artikel | PENGARUH PEMBERIAN EKSTRAK KULIT BUAH MANGGA ARUMANIS (Mangifera Indica L.) TERHADAP JUMLAH MONOSIT DAN LIMFOSIT PADA TIKUS PUTIH YANG DIINDUKSI KARBON TETRAKLORIDA |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang : Sirosis hati merupakan kerusakan hati yang ditandai dengan monositosis dan limfopenia, serta penyebab kematian terbesar ketiga setelah penyakit kardiovaskuler dan kanker. Kulit buah mangga mangandung mangiferin dan kuersetin yang berperan sebagai antiinflamasi dan imunostimulan. Tujuan : Mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ekstrak kulit buah mangga arumanis terhadap jumlah monosit dan limfosit pada tikus putih yang diinduksi CCl4. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan true experiment pre-post test with control group design. Total sampel sebanyak 36 ekor tikus putih galur Wistar, yang dibagai menjadi enam kelompok, dimana masing-masing kelompok terdiri dari enam ekor tikus. Induksi CCl4 dilakukan melalui intraperitonial, selama 24 jam. Perlakuan diberikan selama 10 hari, sesuai dosis yang ditentukan. Uji hipotesis menggunakan One-Way ANNOVA dan Kruskal-Wallis, yang dilanjutkan dengan analisis Post-hoc. Hasil : Hasil ANNOVA pada selisih pre-posttest persentase monosit antara kelompok kontrol dengan kelompok perlakuan menunjukkan tidak ada beda (p>0.05). Hasil analisis Kruskal-Wallis pada selisih pre-posttest limfosit antara kelompok kontrol dengan perlakuan menunjukkan ada beda (p<0.05). Kesimpulan : Terdapat pengaruh pemberian ekstrak kulit buah mangga arumanis terhadap jumlah monosit dan limfosit pada tikus putih yang diinduksi CCl4, meskipun jumlah monosit tiap kelompok tidak berbeda secara signifikan. |

Inggris) | Introduction : Liver cirrhosis is a liver damage characterized by monocytosis and lymphopenia, it is also the third leading cause of death after cardiovascular disease and cancer. The mango skin contains mangiferin and quercetin which act as anti-inflammatory and immunostimulant. Purpose : To know the effect of arumanis mango peel extract on the amount of monocyte and lymphocyte in white rats induced by CCl4. Methods : This study used true experiment pre-post test with control group design. Total sample of 36 Wistar white rats, divided into six groups, each group consisted of six rats. The CCl4 induction was performed through intraperitoneal, for 24 hours. Treatment was given for 10 days, according to the prescribed dose. Hypothesis test used One-Way ANNOVA and Kruskal-Wallis, followed by Post-hoc analysis. Results : The result of ANNOVA on the difference in pre-posttest of monocyte percentage between the control group and the treatment group showed there was no different (p> 0.05). The result of Kruskal-Wallis analysis on the difference of pre-posttest lymphocytes between control group and treatment group showed there was different (p <0.05). Conclusion : There is an effect of arumanis mango peel extract on the number of monocytes and lymphocytes in white rats induced by CCl4, although the number of monocytes each group no different significantly. |
