| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Jurnal ini menjelaskan kepentingan Rusia di Suriah. Suriah adalah salah satu negara di Timur Tengah yang sedang mengalami gejolak politik dengan orang-orang menuntut Presiden Bashar al-Assad mundur dari posisinya. Konflik ini telah mengklaim begitu banyak nyawa orang-orang yang dipimpin oleh negara-negara barat untuk melakukan senjata dan sanksi ekonomi lainnya terhadap Suriah namun usaha tersebut ditentang oleh Rusia melalui veto Teori Politik Asing di negara tersebut mencoba untuk menjelaskan keputusan Rusia sebagai sebuah bentuk kekuatan pemeliharaan di Timur Tengah, terutama di Suriah. Selain itu, Rusia Rusia memiliki kepentingan di Suriah. Ruang lingkup penelitian ini adalah dari tahun 2012-2016 |

Syria is one of the countries in the Middle East that is experiencing political turmoil with people demanding President Bashar al-Assad retreat from his position. This conflict has claimed so much of the lives of people that western countries are leading to carry out arms and other economic sanctions against Syria but the attempt was opposed by Russia through the veto Foreign Political Theory of the country tried to explain Russia's decision as a form of maintenance power in the Middle East, especially in Syria.
