| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kecernaan bahan kering (KBK) dan kecernaan bahan organik (KBO) berbagai hijauan dalam pakan sapi potong secara in vitro. Materi yang digunakan adalah daun jambu biji, daun pepaya, daun gamal, kulit nanas dan konsentrat (onggok, dedak padi, pollard, urea, bungkil kelapa, dan mineral) dan menggunakan metode eksperimental secara in vitro dan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu rancangan acak lengkap (4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan). Peubah yang diamati yaitu kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik dengan perlakuan P1 (40% kulit nanas+60% konsentrat), P2 (40% daun gamal+60% konsentrat), P3 (40% daun pepaya+60% konsentrat), dan P4 (40% daun jambu biji+60% konsentrat). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0.01) terhadap kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik. Rataan KBK adalah P1=16,58+2,34%, P2=20,60+1,51%, P3=34,62+2,53%, P4=12,21+2,17%. Rataan KBO adalah P1=16,28+2,16%, P2=21,59+1,88%, P3=36,75+2,69%, P4=14,14+2,23. Uji lanjut Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) KBK P1 berbeda nyata dengan P2, P3, dan P4. KBO P1 dan P4 tidak berbeda nyata dan P2 dan P3 berbeda nyata dengan P1 dan P4. Disimpulkan bahwa dari keempat perlakuan hanya daun pepaya yang memiliki KBK dan KBO tertinggi yaitu 34,62% dan 36,75%. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research was to determine the digestibility of dry matter and organic matter of various forages in cattle feed. The material used in the research were guava leaf, papaya leaf, gamal leaf, pineapple skin, as well as concentrate (onggok, rice bran, pollard, urea, coconut cake and minerals) and used experimental in-vitro method and Using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The variables were the value of digestibility of dry matter and organic matter. The treatments used were P1 (40% pineapple skin+60% concentrate), P2 (40% gamal leaf+60% concentrate), P3 (40% papaya leaf+60% concentrate), dan P4 (40% guava leaf+60% concentrate). Data were analysed by using an analysis of variance and then using the test honest significant difference (HSD). The research showed that treatment were very significant effect (P<0.01) on digestibility of dry matter and organic matter. The average of digestibility of dry matter were P1=16,58+2,34%, P2= 0,60+1,51%, P3=34,62+2,53%, P4=12,21+2,17%. The average of digestibility of organic matter were P1=16,28+2,16%, P2=21,59+1,88%, P3=36,75+2,69%, P4=14,14+2,23. Honest significant difference (HSD) test on KBK showed that P1 was significant than P2, P3 dan P4. KBO showed that P1 and P4 were not significant and P2 and P3 were significant than P1 and P4. Concluded of this research that only papaya leaf has digestibility of dry matter and organic matter as highest, those were 34,62% and 36,75%. |
