| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Buncis (Phaseolus. vulgaris L.) merupakan tanaman sayuran polong semusim yang kaya akan kandungan nutrisi sehingga berpotensi untuk dikembangkan karena mampu memberikan keuntungan yang besar. Desa Serang yang terletak di Kecamatan Karangreja Kabupaten Purbalingga merupakan sentra produksi sayuran diantaranya yaitu buncis dengan luas lahan tanaman buncis ± 43 ha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis penyakit yang disebabkan oleh jamur pada tanaman buncis, jamur yang menyebabkan penyakit pada tanaman buncis, jenis penyakit yang paling banyak muncul pada tanaman buncis dan besarnya persentase penyakit yang disebabkan oleh jamur pada tanaman buncis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode survey dengan pengambilan sampel secara purposive random sampling pada tiga lokasi yang berbeda di Desa Serang, Kecamatan Karangreja, Kabupaten Purbalingga. Sampel tanaman diidentifikasi penyakitnya berdasarkan tanda dan gejala. Jamur kemudian diisolasi dan diidentifikasi secara makroskopis dan mikroskopis, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji Postulat Koch. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyakit yang disebabkan oleh jamur yaitu penyakit bercak daun oleh Cercospora sp. dan penyakit antraknosa oleh Colletotrichum sp. Penyakit yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah penyakit bercak daun oleh Cercospora sp. sebanyak 180 kali dengan persentase penyakit sebesar 50%. |

Inggris) | Common beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) are seasonal vegetable crops which are rich in nutritional content and has the potential to be developed because it can provide great benefits. One of vegetable industry center which provides approximately 43 ha of beans plantation area is located in Serang country of Karangreja district of Purbalingga regency. This study aims to determine the types of diseases caused by fungi in common beans, fungi that cause disease in common beans, the type of disease that most appear on beans, and the percentage of diseases caused by fungi in common beans. Crop samples were identified by disease based on signs and symptoms matched with "Penyakit-penyakit Tanaman Holtikultura di Indonesia" book (Semangun, 1989). This study used survey method with purposive random sampling at three different locations in Serang country. The fungi are isolated then identified macroscopically and microscopically using "Illustrated Genera of Imperfect Fungi" book (Barnett and Hunter, 1972), followed by Koch Postulates. Percentage of diseases in plants was calculated using the Rahardjo and Suhardi formula (2008). The result of this study has been seen clearly that diseases which caused by fungi are leaf spot disease by Cercospora sp. and anthracnose disease by Colletotrichum sp. The most common diseases are spotted by Cercospora sp. as many as 180 times with the percentage of disease of 50%. |
