| Judul Artikel | PERBEDAAN PERFORMA REPRODUKSI INDUK SAPI BRAHMAN PADA PARITAS PERTAMA DAN KEDUA DI BPTU HPT SEMBAWA |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan di BPTU HPT Sembawa, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan pada 9 Februari sampai 9 Maret 2016 yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari perbedaan performa reproduksi paritas pertama dan kedua induk Sapi Brahman. Penelitian ini menggunakan induk Sapi Brahman yang berjumlah 103 ekor pada paritas 1 dan 58 ekor pada paritas 2. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui pengumpulan data primer yang diperoleh dari catatan yang dilakukan oleh petugas BPTU Sembawa pada tahun 2012 sampai 2015. Variabel yang diamati yaitu Days Open (DO), Post Partum Estrus (PPE), Conception Rate (CR) dan Service per conception (S/C). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif serta uji t (paired sample dan independent t-test). Hasil penelitian diperoleh rataan lama DO antara paritas 1 dan 2 masing-masing sebesar 189,92±46,31 hari dan 175,5±59,89 hari, PPE paritas 1 dan 2 sebesar 179,15±42,18 hari dan 168,68±59,36 hari, CR paritas 1 dan 2 sebesar 63,11% dan 87,93%, sedangkan nilai S/C pada paritas 1 dan 2 masing-masing sebesar 1,44±0,65 kali dan 1,17±0,5 kali. Hasil analisis uji t menunjukkan bahwa paritas 1 dan 2 tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap DO dan PPE (P>0,05), sedangkan nilai S/C berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05). Hal ini menunjukan bahwa performa reproduksi induk Sapi Brahman pada paritas 2 lebih baik dibandingkan paritas 1. Kata kunci: BPTU HPT, Induk Sapi Brahman, Paritas, Performa Reproduksi. |

Inggris) | Abstract This research was conducted at BPTU HPT Sembawa, South Sumatera on February 9 until March 9, 2016 to know and study about the different reproduction performance of first and second parity of Brahman cows. A total of 161 cows consisting of 103 cows in first parity and 58 cows in second parity were used in this research. This research was conducted by collecting the primer data of recording that held by official of BPTU Sembawa on 2012 until 2015. Variables observed in this study were days open (DO), post partum estrus (PPE), conception rate (CR) and service per conception (S/C). Data were analyzed by descriptive and t test (paired sample and independent t-test). The result of DO average between 1 and 2 parity were 189.92±46.31 days and 175.5±59.89 days, PPE 1 and 2 parity were 179.15±42.18 and 168.68±59.36, CR 1 and 2 parity were 63.11% and 87.93%, and S/C 1 and 2 parity were 1.44±0.65 and 1.17±0.5. The result of t test analysis showed that parity 1 and 2 had no significant effect on DO and PPE (P>0.05), while S/C value significantly (P<0.05). It can be concluded that the effect of parity on reproduction performance of Brahman cows at parity 2 was better than parity 1. Key words: BPTU HPT, Brahman cows, Parity, Reproduction Performnce. |
