| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini berjudul “Faktor-Faktor yang Memengaruhi Konsumsi dan Impor Beras di Indonesia dengan Menggunakan Persamaan Simultan (Periode tahun 1990 – 2014). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari beberapa variabel independen terhadap dua variabel dependen yang digunakan yaitu konsumsi beras dan impor beras di Indonesia. Periode penelitian ini adalah 25 tahun dari tahun 1990 sampai dengan 2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat analisis dengan metode TSLS (Two-Stage Least Square). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) Variabel jumlah penduduk, harga beras domestik, pendapatan per kapita, dan jumlah impor berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan terhadap jumlah konsumsi beras di Indonesia. Diantara variabel independen tersebut, variabel jumlah penduduk secara parsial berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat konsumsi beras, sedangkan ketiga variabel lainnya tidak berpengaruh (2) Variabel produksi beras, konsumsi beras, kurs, dan cadangan beras tidak berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan terhadap jumlah impor beras di Indonesia. Seluruh variabel independen tersebut secara parsial tidak berpengaruh terhadap jumlah impor beras. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | ABSTRACT This research entitled "Factors Which Influence the Consumption and Import of Rice in Indonesia by Using Simultaneous Equations (Period 1990 - 2014). The study aims to determine the effect of some independent variables on two dependent variables that are used in this research, those are rice consumption and rice imports in Indonesia. This research period is 25 years from 1990 until 2014 using TSLS (Two-Stage Least Square) method. The result of research, indicates that (1) variable of population, domestic rice price, income per capita, and import quantity have simultaneously significant influence to the amount of rice consumption in Indonesia. Among the independent variables, partial population variable has a positive effect on rice consumption level, while the other three variables are not effecting at all. (2) Rice production variables, rice consumption, exchange rate, and rice stock has no significant effect simultaneously on the amount of rice import in Indonesia. All of this independent variables, partially doesn’t effect to the amount of rice imports. |
