Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Hutan mangrove memiliki manfaat ekonomi bagi masyarakat sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai kerapatan dan nilai ekonomi mangrove, di lokasi hutan mangrove Segara Anakan Timur, Cilacap. Metode Simple Random Sampling diterapkan pada 22 stasiun. Data ekonomi diperoleh melalui kuisioner. Parameter penelitian berupa diameter pohon, kerapatan pohon dan nilai ekonomi mangrove. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Nilai kerapatan mangrove untuk diameter >10 cm di Segara Anakan Timur, Cilacap kerapatan mangrove di Sungai Donan memiliki potensi kerapatan terendah; (2) Nilai manfaat ekonomi biomassa mangrove di Segara Anakan Timur, Cilacap untuk nilai potensi karbon sebesar 40,65 ton/ha, nilai per luas total karbon sebesar 124.240 ton/ha dan nilai ekonomi karbon sebesar Rp. 16.772.443.300. Nilai potensi arang sebesar 102,22 ton/ha, nilai perluas total arang sebesar 312.433 ton/ha dan nilai ekonomi arang sebesar Rp. 14.059.487.390. Nilai potensi kayu sebesar 112,61 m3/ha, nilai perluas total kayu sebesar 344.209 m3/ha dan nilai ekonomi karbon sebesar Rp. 20.652.560.437. Potensi kayu bakar sebesar 34,28 m3/ha, nilai perluas total kayu bakar sebesar 104.789 m3/ha dan nilai ekonomi karbon sebesar Rp. 6.287.311.814. Potensi Nipah sebesar 2.347 ind/ha, nilai perluas total Nipah sebesar 717.333 ind/ha dan nilai ekonomi Nipah sebesar Rp. 1.434.666.278.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Mangrove forest has the economic benefit for peoples life. A study, dealing with both density and mangrove economic values, was conducted in mangrove forest of Eastern Segara Anakan. Simple Random Sampling Method was used in this site which was divided into 22 stations. Questionnaires were used for collecting economic data. Some parameters i.e trunc diameters, tree density, and economic value of mangrove were observed. Results indicated that: (1) mangrove density of >10 cm in trunc diameters was potentially lowest density; (2) economical benefit value of mangrove biomass for carbon was 40.65 tons/ha, total carbon was 124,240 tons/ha and carbon economic value was Rp.16,772,443,300. Charcoal potential value was 102.22 tons/ha, total value of charcoal was 312,433 tons/ha and the charcoal economic value was Rp.14,059,487,390. The potential value of logs, total logs, and carbon economic value were 112.61 m3/ha, 344,209 m3/ha, and Rp.20,652,560,437, successively. The potential of firewood was 34.28 m3/ha, the total firewood value was 104,789 m3/ha, and carbon economic value was Rp.6,287,311,814. Potential of Nypa was 2,347 ind/ha, total value of Nypa was 717,333 ind/ha, and Nypa economic value was Rp. 1,434,666,278.
