| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Masa remaja merupakan masa peralihan dan pencarian jati diri. Pada masa ini, remaja mengalami proses pembentukan identitas dan konsep diri. Komunikasi yang terjadi dalam suatu komunitas dapat mendorong pembentukan konsep diri dari seorang individu. Hal ini menguatkan pandangan bahwa perilaku seorang individu tidak sepenuhnya ditentukan oleh pembawaan alami mereka, melainkan merupakan pengaruh kelompok yang mereka identifikasi. Tujuaan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses identitas diri remaja terbentuk di dalam sebuah Komunitas Milanisti Indonesia Sezione Purwokerto, serta bagaimana gambaran konsep diri remaja yang menjadi anggota di dalam komunitas tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Imforman dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis interaktif digunakan dalam analisis data pada penelitian ini yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Validitas data diuji dengan cara membendingkan hasil wawancara salah satu sumber dengan yang lain disertai hasil observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa, pertama, konsep diri para Milanisti dibentuk dalam komunitas sebagai hasil dari interaksinya dengan sesama anggota komunitas. Kedua, identitas diri anggota Milanisti merupakan hasil dari interaksinya dengan significant others dan reference group. Ketiga, komunitas Milanisti Indonesia Sezione Purwokerto memiliki kohesivitas kelompok yang sangat tinggi. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Adolescence is a period of transition and search for identity. At this time, adolescents experience the process of identity formation and self-concept. Communication that occurs in a community can encourage the formation of self-concept of an individual. This reinforces the view that an individual's behavior is not entirely determined by their natural nature, but rather the influence of the group they identify. The purpose of this study is to find out how the process of adolescent self-identity formed within a Community of Milanisti Indonesia Sezione Purwokerto, and how the concept of self-image of adolescents who become members in the community. This research uses qualitative research method. The informant was chosen using purposive sampling technique. Data collection was done by in-depth interview, observation and documentation. Interactive analysis used in data analysis in this research is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The data validity was tested by interviewing one source with another with observation. The results of this study found that, first, the self-concept of the Milanisti was formed in the community as a result of its interaction with fellow members of the community. Second, the identity of Milanisti members is the result of his interaction with significant others and reference groups. Third, the Milanisti Indonesia Sezione Purwokerto community has a very high group cohesiveness. |
