| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh konsumsi dan konversi pakan ayam broiler yang mendapat suplementasi tepung daun akar purwo (Eryngium foetidum L.). Materi yang digunakan ayam broiler strain Lohmann MB 202 selama 42 hari sebanyak 80 ekor. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode eksperimental dan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan dan lima ulangan. Perlakuan yang diuji adalah R0= Pakan basal tanpa kandungan tepung daun akar purwo (Kontrol), R1= Pakan basal yang mengandung tepung daun akar purwo 1,5%, R2= Pakan basal yang mengandung tepung daun akar purwo 3% , R3= Pakan basal yang mengandung tepung daun akar purwo 4,5%. Peubah meliputi konsumsi dan konversi pakan. Data di analisis variansi. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa konsumsi dan konversi pakan ayam broiler yang mendapat suplementasi tepung daun akar purwo (Eryngium foetidum L.) berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05). Rataan konsumsi pakan selama penelitian/ekor R0 sebanyak 2520 gram, R1 sebanyak 2440,1 gram, R2 sebanyak 2476,3 gram dan, R3 sebanyak 2793,2 gram relatif sama. Rataan konversi pakan R0 sebanyak 3,32, R1 sebanyak 3,00, R2 sebanyak 2,77, dan, R3 sebanyak 3,08 relatif sama. Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah konsumsi dan konversi pakan ayam broiler yang mendapat suplementasi tepung daun akar purwo (Eryngium foetidum L.) sampai 4,5% relatif sama.

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The objective of this study was to study the effect of consumption and feed conversion of broiler ration which was supplemented with purwo root flour (Eryngium foetidum L.). Materials used were broiler strain Lohmann MB 202 for 42 days as many as 80 heads. The experiment was conducted using experimental method and using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and five replications. The tested treatments were R0 = Basal feed without purwo root flour content (Control), R1 = Basal feed containing purwo root flour 1.5%, R2 = Basal diet containing purwo root flour 3%, R3 = Basal diet which contains purwo root powders of 4.5%. The variables included feed consumption and conversion. Data were analyzed by using variance analysis. The results of variance analysis showed that the consumption and conversion of broiler feed which got purwo root supplementation (Eryngium foetidum L.) had no significant effect (P> 0.05). The average feed intake during the research / heads R0 of was as much as 2520 grams, R1 as much as 2440.1 grams, R2 as much as 2476.3 grams and R3 of 2793.2 grams were relatively the same. The average of feed conversion of R0 was as much as 3.32, R1 as much 3.00 R2 as much as 2.77 and R3, 3.08 is relatively the same. The conclusion of this research is, the consumption and conversion of broiler feed which get purwo root flour supplementation (Eryngium foetidum L.) up to 4.5% is relatively similar. |
