| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar belakang: Pemasangan infus merupakan prosedur invasif dan tindakan yang sering dilakukan di rumah sakit. Proses pemasangan infus membutuhkan waktu yang lama dan menggunakan alat habis pakai yang berlebihan. Tujuan:Untuk mengetahui gambaran lama waktu dan pemakaian alat dalam proses pemasangan infus pasien dewasa di IGD RSUD Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Metode:Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, non eksperimental menggunakan metode deskriptif observasional dan rancangan penelitian cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua perawat yang melakukan pemasangan infus dan pasien dewasa yang dipasang infus. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan teknik total sampling dengan sampel proses pemasangan infus yang dilkukan oleh perawat terhadap pasien dewasa selama 10 hari. Pengambilan data menggunakan alat ukur berupa observasi dengan checklist. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini analisis univariat. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa jumlah seluruh lama waktu yang dibutuhkan oleh perawat dalam proses pemasangan infus dengan waktu tercepat selama 13,52 menit sebanyak 2 orang (2%) dan waktu terlama selama 23,11 menit sebanyak 1 orang (1,0%), Sedangkan peralatan yaitu 1 pasang sarung tangan dan cairan infus 1 buah sebanyak 98 orang (100%); pemakaian 1 buah jarum infus sebanyak 94 orang (95,9%) dengan pemakaian jarum infus lebih yaitu 4 buah sebanyak 1 orang (1%), pemakaian 1 selang infus sebanyak 97 orang (99%); 3 buah kapas alkohol 70% sebanyak 49 orang (50%) dengan pemakaian kapas alkohol 70% lebih yaitu 3 buah sebanyak 50 orang (51%); pemakaian 3 buah plester atau hypavix sebanyak 62 orang (63,3%). Kesimpulan: Lama waktu proses pemasangan infus di IGD RSUD Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto rata-rata 17,4 menit, dan ada pemakaian alat melebihi kebiasaan. | Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background: Peripheral intravenous catheter cannulation is an invasive procedure and frequently performed in the hospital. The infusion process takes a long time uses excessive consumables. Objective: This study aims to determine the description of the time and use of tools in the process of infusion of adult patients in IGD RSUD Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Methods: This research is descriptive quantitative, non experimental research using descriptive observational method and cross sectional research design. Population in this study is the whole process of the infusion performed by nurses on adult patient in the IGD RSUD Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto.Technique of sampling with total sampling technique with sample ofinfusion process done by nurse to adult patient for 10 days. Data collection using measuring instrument in the form of observation with checklist. Results: The results showed that the total length of time required by the nurses in the infusion process with the fastest time for 13 minutes 52 scond, the longest time for 23 minutes 11 scond,andavaraged 17,4 minutes.While the equipment that is 1 pair of gloves and infusion fluid 1 fruit as many as 98 people (100%); 1 vein catheter as many as 94 people (95,9%) with the use of more catheter vein that is 4 pieces as much as 1 person (1%), 1 set infusion as many as 97 people (99%); 3 pieces of 70% alcohol cotton as many as 49 people (50%) with 70% more cotton consumption 3 pieces of 50 people (51%); 3 pieces of plaster or hypafix as many as 62 people (63,3%). Conclusion: The duration of the process of infusion in IGD RSUD Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto avaraged 17,4 minutes, and there is still excess tool usage in the process of infusion.
