| Judul Artikel | PENGARUH TIGA TARAF NILAI EC (ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TIGA VARIETAS PAKCHOY PADA HIDROPONIK SISTEM RAKIT APUNG |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tanaman sayuran merupakan salah satu komoditas hortikultura yang diusahakan oleh banyak masyarakat sebagai sumber penghasilan dan pemenuh kebutuhan sehari-hari diantaranya adalah pakchoy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui pengaruh nilai EC larutan nutrisi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil pakchoy yang ditanam secara hidroponik sistem rakit apung, 2) Mengetahui varietas terbaik dari tiga varietas pakchoy yang ditanam secara hidroponik sistem rakit apung, 3) Mengetahui pengaruh interaksi antara nilai EC larutan nutrisi dengan varietas pakchoy. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Nopember 2016 sampai Januari 2017 di screen house Pondok Pesantren Darussalam, Dukuhwaluh, Purwokerto dengan ketinggian tempat 100 meter di atas permukaan laut. Percobaan ini menggunakan perlakuan faktorial yang terdiri dari dua faktor dan tiga ulangan dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap. Faktor pertama adalah nilai EC (P) dengan 3 taraf yaitu 1,5 mS cm-1 (P1), 2,5 mS cm-1 (P2), 3,5 mS cm-1 (P3) dan faktor kedua adalah 3 varietas pakchoy yaitu Ching Chiang (V1), Flamingo (V2), Brisk Green (V3). Variabel yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, jumlah kandungan klorofil, volume akar, panjang akar, bobot segar tajuk, bobot segar akar, bobot kering tajuk dan bobot kering akar. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis dengan uji F, apabila terdapat pengaruh perlakuan maka dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT (Beda Nyata Terkecil) pada taraf kesalahan 5 %. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai EC larutan nutrisi yang dicoba tidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman pakchoy. Varietas Brisk Green (V3) menunjukan pertumbuhan dan hasil tertinggi pada variabel tinggi tanaman, luas daun, volume akar, bobot segar tajuk, bobot kering tajuk, bobot segar akar, bobot kering akar. Tidak ada interaksi antara nilai EC larutan nutrisi dengan varietas pakchoy. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Vegetables crops are one of horticultura commodities soughted by many people as a source of income and fulfilling the daily needs one of which is pakchoy. This research aimed to: 1) know the influence the EC value on growth and yield of pakchoy with floating hydroponics system, 2) determine the best varieties of the three varieties of pakchoy that are grown with floating hydroponics system, 3) know the influence of interaction between EC nutrient solution and varieties of pakchoy. The research was conducted from Nopember 2016 to January 2017, in the screen house at Darussalam Boarding School, Dukuhwaluh, Purwokerto, with a height of place 100 meters above sea level. This experiment used factorial treatment consisting of two factors and three replications in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD). The first factors was EC (P) value with 3 levels which are 1,5 mS cm-1 (P1), 2,5 mS cm-1 (P2), 3,5 mS cm-1 (P3), and the second factors was 3 varieties pakchoy (V) which are Ching Chiang (V1), Flamingo (V2), Brisk Green (V3). The observed variables include plant height, leaf number, leaf area, the amount of chlorophyll, root volume, root length, plant fresh weight, root fresh weight, plant dry weight and root dry weight. The data were analyzed with observation result test F, if influence of the treatment continued with LSD (Least Significant Different) test on level 5 % error. The results showed that the EC nutrient solution was tried has no effect on the growth and yield of pakchoy. Brisk Green (V3) varieties showed the highest of growth and yield on plant height, leaf area, root volume, fresh weight of the plants, root wet weight, dry weight of the plant, root dry weight. Not the case influence the interaction between EC nutrient solution and varieties of pakchoy. |
