| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini dilakukan secara in vitro bertempat di laboratorium ilmu nutrisi dan makanan ternak Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Purwokerto. Materi yang digunakan adalah kulit nanas, daun gamal, daun papaya, dan daun jambu biji. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian experimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap, 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan dengan total 20 unit percobaan yaitu R1 = kulit nanas 40% + konsentrat 60%; R2 daun gamal 40% + konsentrat 60%; R3 = daun papaya 40% + konsentrat 60%; R4 = daun jambu + konsentrat 60%. Hasil penelitian konsentrasi VFA adalah R1 (kulit nanas) 99.00 mM, R2 (daun gamal) 136.00 mM, R3 (daun papaya) 201,50 mM dan R4 (daun jambu) 220,00 mM. Sedangkan hasil penelitian rataan konsentrasi N- NH3 adalah R1 (kulit nanas) 8,72 mM, R2 (daun gamal) 11,575 mM, R3 (daun papaya) 15,07 mM dan R4 (daun jambu) sebesar 16,43 mM. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukan bahwa penggunaan keempat hijauan sebagai pakan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap produk VFA dan N- NH3. Kesimpulan dari penelitian tersebut yaitu bahan pakan dengan konsentrasi VFA dalam kisaran normal adalah kulit nanas 99,00 mM dan daun gamal 136,00 mM. Bahan pakan dengan konsentrasi NH3 dalam kisaran normal adalah kulit nanas 8,72 mM dan daun gamal 11,575 mM. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The research was conducted by in vitro at the Nutrition Science and Animal Feed Laboratory, Animal Husbandry Faculty, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. The materials used for this research were pineapple skin, gamal leaf, papaya leaf, and guava leaf. The research method used was experimental with Completely Randomized Design, 4 treatments and 5 replications with a total of 20 experimental units; R1 = 40% of pineapple skin flour + 60% of concentrate; R2 =40% of gamal leaf flour + 60% of concentrate; R3 = 40% of papaya leaf flour + 60% of concentrate; R4 = 40% of guava leaf flour + 60% of concentrate. The results showed that the average concentration of VFA for R1 (pineapple skin) was 99.00 mM, R2 (gamal leaf) was 136.00 mM, R3 (papaya leaf) was 201.50 mM, and R4 (guava leaf) was 220.00 mM. The average concentration of N-NH3 for R1 (pineapple skin) was 8.72 mM, R2 (gamal leaf) was 11.575 mM, R3 (papaya leaf) was 15.07 mM, and R4 (guava leaf) was 16.43 mM. The results of variance analysis showed that the use of the four kinds of forages as the feed had a very significant effect (P <0.01) on the VFA and N- NH3 productions. The conclusion of this research is, feedstuffs that were converted to VFA concentration in normal range were pineapple skin 99.00 mM, and gamal leaf 136.00 mM. Feedstuffs NH3 concentrations within the normal range are pineapple skin 8.72 mM, and gamal leaf 11.575 mM. |
