| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan herbal sinbiotik terhadap bobot dan persentase organ pencernaan (usus halus). Materi yang digunakan adalah itik lokal (mojosari) jantan berumur 3 (tiga minggu) sebanyak 60 ekor. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen secara in vivo dan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dan diuji lanjut menggunakan uji orthogonal polinomial. Perlakuan yang diuji menggunakan herbal sinbiotik yang terdiri dari R0 (penggunaan herbal sinbiotik 0%), R1 (penggunaan herbal sinbiotik 1,5%), R2 (penggunaan herbal sinbiotik 3%), R3 (penggunaan herbal sinbiotik 4,5%) dengan perbandingan herbal:sinbiotik adalah 1:1, dan tiap perlakuan diulang 5 kali ulangan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil rataan bobot usus halus R0, R1, R2, R3, berturut - turut adalah 32,52 g, 33,24 g, 34,66 g, 36,62 g, sedangkan rataan persentase usus halus R0, R1, R2, R3, berturut - turut adalah 2,73 %, 2,56 %, 2,65 %, 2,54 % dari bobot hidup. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan herbal dan sinbiotik dalam pakan itik lokal sampai dengan level 4,5% berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap bobot dan persentase usus halus. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan herbal dan sinbiotik dalam pakan itik lokal jantan sampai dengan level pemberian 4,5% menghasilkan bobot dan persentase usus halus yang relatif sama. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The purpose of this research was to evaluate the use of synbiotic herbs on weights and percentages of digestive organs (intestine). The materials used were male local ducks (mojosari) aged 3 (three weeks) as many as 60 heads. The research was carried out using experimental methods by in vivo, using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) and was further tested using the test of orthogonal polynomial. The treatments tested using synbiotic herbs consisted of R0 (the use of synbiotic herbs 0%), R1 (1.5%) use synbiotic herbs, use synbiotic herbs R2 (3%), R3 (4.5%) uses of synbiotic herbs with herbs: synbiotic comparison of 1:1, and each treatment was repeated 5 times. The research results showed and the mean weight intestine of R0, R1, R2, R3, were respechively 32.52 g, 33.24 g, 34.66 g, and 36.62 g, whereas the mean percentage of intestine of R0, R1, R2, R3, were successively 2.73%, 2.56% 2.54%, and 2.65% of live weight. Variance analysis results indicated that the use of herbs and synbiotic in local ducks feed up to 4.5% the effect was not significant (P > 0.05) on weights and percentages of intestine. The conclusion of this research is, the use of herbs and synbiotic in local ducks feed up to 4.5% produces similar weights and percentages of intestine. The use of herbs and synbiotic has no effect directly on weights and percentages of intestine. |
