Judul ArtikelKADAR VFA DAN N-NH3 PADA RUMPUT LAPANG, DAUN GAMBAS, DAUN BENGKUANG, DAN DAUN KOL SECARA IN VITRO
Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kadar VFA dan N-NH3 berbagai hijauan dalam pakan sapi potong secara in vitro. Materi yang digunakan adalah rumput lapang, daun gambas, dun kol, daun bengkuang, dan konsentrat yang terdiri dari pollard, bungkil kelapa, onggok, mineral, dedak padi dan urea. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental secara in vitro dan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu rancangan acak lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Peubah yang diamati yaitu kadar VFA dan N-NH3. Perlakuan yang digunakan yaitu P1 (40% rumput lapang + 60% konsentrat), P2 (40% daun gambas + 60% konsentrat), P3 (40% daun bengkuang + 60% konsentrat), dan P4 (40% daun kol + 60% konsentrat). Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan diuji lanjut dengan uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0.01) terhadap VFA dan N-NH3. Rataan VFA adalah P1 = 78±10,11 mM, P2 = 57±4,47 mM, P3 = 59±6,12 mM, P4 = 54±6,12 mM. Rataan N-NH3 adalah P1 = 7,18±1.30 mM, P2 = 10,08±1.78 mM, P3 = 11,98±0,40 mM, P4 = 16.68±0,91 mM. Uji lanjut Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) kadar VFA P1 berbeda nyata dengan P2,P3. Kadar N-NH3 P2 dan P3 tidak berbeda nyata dan P2 dan P3 berbeda nyata dengan P1 dan P4. Rumput lapang memiliki kadar VFA dan N-NH3 dalam kisaran normal yaitu 78 mM dan 7,18 mM.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)The aim of this research was to find out the optimum concentrations of VFA and N-NH3 of Field grass, gambas leaf, Bengkuang leaf, and kol leaf. The materials used in the research were Field grass, Luffa actangula leaf, Pachyrhizus erosus leaf, Brassica oleracea leaf, as well as concentrate comprised of pollard, coconut cake, onggok, minerals, rice bran and urea. The research method was experimental by in-vitro , Using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The variables were the concentrations of VFA and N-NH3. Data were analysed by using an analysis of variance and then using the test of honesty significant difference (HSD). The research showed that treatment very significantly affect (P<0.01) VFA and N-NH3. The averages of VFA were P1 = 78±10.11 mM, P2 = 57±4.47 mM, P3 = 59±6.12 mM, P4 = 54±6.12 mM. The average of N-NH3 were P1 = 7.18±1.30 mM, P2 = 10.08±1.78 mM, P3 = 11.98±0.40 mM, P4 = 16.68±0.91 mM. Honesty significant difference (HSD) test of VFA showed that P1 was significantly different to P2, P3 dan P4. The consentrations of N-NH3 showed that P2, and P3 were not significanty different and P2 and P3 were significanty different to P1 and P4. Field grass had VFA and N-NH3 in normal range, those were 78 mM, and 7.18 mM.
