| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Iklan Layanan Masyarakat merupakan iklan yang banyak dibuat oleh pemerintah dan LSM (Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat). Kementerian Kesehatan sudah meluncurkan berbagai macam versi Iklan Layanan Masyarakat mengenai bahaya rokok. Setiap iklan pasti memiliki karakteristik masing-masing, untuk melihat karakteristik tersebut perlu dilakukan eksplorasi terhadap isi iklan. Hal tersebut yang melatarbelakangi peneliti melakukan penelitian content analysis terhadap iklan layanan masyarakat bahaya rokok. Penelitian ini berjudul Analisis Isi Iklan Layanan Masyarakat bahaya rokok di Televisi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengeksplorasi isi iklan sehingga akan dapat terlihat kecenderungan karakterisitik isi pada iklan layanan masyarakat bahaya rokok produksi Kementerian Kesehatan. Pemilihan versi iklan yang diambil oleh peneliti yaitu periode Mei 2015 - September 2016, sebanyak empat iklan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tipe penelitian deskriptif. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis isi untuk mengetahui kecenderungan karakteristik iklan layanan masyarakat bahaya rokok di televisi berdasarkan dari elemen-elemen iklan televisi. Dengan melakukan pengkodingan terhadap coding sheet yang dilakukan oleh dua orang ahli (koder). Teknik pengambilan sample pada penelitian ini menggunakan total sampling dari keseluruhan iklan layanan masyarakata bahaya rokok di televisi periode Mei 2015- September 2016 sebanyak 4 iklan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, diketahui bahwa iklan layanan masyarakat bahaya rokok di televisi periode Mei 2015 – September 2016 memiliki kecenderungan karakteristik berisi pesan informasi dan persuasi, serta cenderung bersifat emotional appeal dan fear appeal. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Public Service Announcements is the announcement or advertisement which made of the governments and Non-Governmental Organization (LSM). There’s a few example of the public service announcements, one of them is public service announcement about health, which is about the dangers of smoking. Ministry of Health has produced a few versions of public service announcement about the dangers of smoking. Every ad certainly has the characteristics of each other. To understand those characteristics need some explorations of ad contents. The underlying thing that researchers do content analysis research about public service announcement of the dangers of smoking. The title of this research is Content Analysis of Public Service Announcements about Dangerous of Smoking on Television. And the purpose of this research is to explore ad’s contents so that the contents can be seen a tendency characteristics of public service announcement about the dangers of smoking which made of Ministry of Health was produced a few versions public service announcements about the dangers of smoking. Choices ad’s version has took of the researcher in period May 2015-September 2016, as much four ad’s. This research using quantitative approach with descriptive research type. Using method content analysis to determine the characteristic tendency public service announcements about the dangers of smoking on television according from the elements of television’s advertisements. By doing coding of coding sheet which is conducted by two experts (coder). The technique of taking sample in this research using total sampling from a whole of public service announcements about the dangers of smoking in period May 2015-September 2016, as much 4 ads. The result of this research known that public service announcements about the dangers of smoking on television in period May 2015-September 2016 have a characteristic tendency that there’s the information and persuasion messages, and tend to be emotional appeal and fear appeal. |
