Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan probiotik dan fitobiotik terhadap kadar total protein plasma dan albumin itik Tegal. Materi yang digunakan adalah itik betina umur 24 minggu sebanyak 80 ekor. Pakan terdiri dari campuran jagung kuning giling 30%, dedak padi 40%, dan konsentrat itik 30% dengan kandungan nutrien pakan : PK = 17%, ME = 2900 kcal/kg, Ca = 3,02% dan P = 1,06% merupakan pakan basal. Bahan tambahan pakan : probiotik starbio, tepung kunyit dan tepung temulawak. Bahan analisis total protein plasma dan albumin : plasma darah, alkohol 70%, aquades, NaOH 2,5 M, NaK Tartat, CuSO4.5H2O, albumin, Na Azida, Na BCG, asam suksinat dan brij 35. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu T0= pakan basal, T1= pakan basal + probiotik 2%, T2= pakan basal + tepung kunyit 4%, T3= pakan basal + tepung temulawak 4%. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan diuji lanjut menggunakan uji orthogonal kontras. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa penambahan probiotik dan fitobiotik berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap kadar total protein plasma, namun berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kadar albumin itik Tegal. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa penambahan kunyit 4% dalam pakan menurunkan total protein plasma. Penambahan probiotik dan fitobiotik dalam pakan menghasilkan albumin yang relatif sama.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)The aimed of this research was to study the effect of probiotic and phytobiotics to the total plasma protein and albumin levels of Tegal duck. Research materials were 24 weeks old female duck as much as 80 hen. Feed was consisted of a mixture 30% milled yellow corn, 40% rice bran, and 30% concentrate with feed nutrient content: PK = 17%, ME = 2900 kcal / kg, Ca = 3.02% and P = 1.06% as basal feed. Feed additives: probiotic starbio, turmeric powder and curcuma xanthorrhiza powder. Research method used was an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 repeated. The treatments were T0 = basal feed, T1 = basal feed + probiotic 2%, T2 = basal feed + turmeric powder 4%, T3 = basal feed + curcuma xanthorrhiza powder 4%. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance and tested further using contrast orthogonal effect. The analysis of variance showed that addition of probiotic and phytobiotics was significant (P<0.05) of total plasma protein levels, but the effect was not significant (P>0,05) of albumin levels of Tegal duck. The conclusion in this study was that addition of 4% turmeric in diet was lower the total plasma protein. Addition of probiotic and phytobiotics in diet was resulted albumin relatively same.
