| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini merupakan studi empiris dengan judul “Analisis Pengaruh Gender Diversity, Corporate Governance, Struktur Modal, dan Ukuran Perusahaan Terhadap Firm Financial Performance”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji apakah terdapat pengaruh gender diversity yang diukur dengan proporsi perempuan dalam dewan komisaris, corporate governance yang diukur sengan komisaris independen dan komite audit, struktur modal, dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap firm financial performance yang diukur dengan Return On Asset (ROA) perusahaan sektor properti, real estate, dan konstruksi bangunan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada periode tahun 2011-2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian asosiatif untuk mengetahui hubungan dan pengaruh antara dua variabel atau lebih. Populasi dari penelitian ini menggunakan kriteria purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh 17 perusahaan sektor properti, real estate, dan konstruksi bangunan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa gender diversity, struktur modal, dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap Return On Asset (ROA). Sedangkan variabel corporate governance tidak berpengaruh terhadap Return On Asset (ROA). Proporsi perempuan dalam dewan komisaris mampu terdistribusi dengan merata sehingga dapat membawa dampak baik bagi perusahaan berupa pengambilan keputusan yang lebih baik. Struktur modal dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perusahaan data sampel penelitian telah menggunakan utang sebagai sumber pendanaan secara optimal. Ukuran perusahaan secara rata-rata data sampel penelitian menunjukan bahwa dengan ukuran perusahaan yang relative besar dapat meningkatkan kesempatan mendapatkan sumber pendanaan yang lebih baik. Komisaris independen dan komite audit kurang dapat memaksimalkan fungsi dan peran nya sehingga dapat berdampak pada pengaruh nya terhadap firm financial performance. |

Inggris) | This research is an empirical study entitled "Analysis of Effect of Gender Diversity, Corporate Governance, Capital Structure and Firm Size Against Firm Financial Performance". The purpose of this study was to examine whether there is an effect of gender diversity as measured by the proportion of women in the board of directors, corporate governance as measured with a bunch of independent directors and audit committee, capital structure, and the size of the company to firm financial performance as measured by Return on Assets (ROA ) company property sector, real estate, and construction of buildings listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research was conducted in the period 2011-2015. This type of research is associative studies to determine the relationship and influence between two or more variables. The population of this study using purposive sampling criteria in order to obtain 17 property, real estate, and construction sector. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that gender diversity, capital structure, and firm size affect the return on assets (ROA). While corporate governance variables do not affect the return on assets (ROA). The proportion of women in the board of directors capable of evenly distributed so as to bring about positive impacts for the company in the form of better decision making. The capital structure of these studies show that the company's research sample data has been using debt as a funding source optimally. Size companies an average of sample data research shows that the relatively large size of the company may increase the chance of getting a better funding source. Independent commissioner and audit committee are less able to maximize function and its role so that it can have an impact on its effect on firm financial performance. |
