| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Obesitas merupakan akumulasi lemak yang abnormal dapat menjadi resiko berbagai penyakit. Obesitas pada remaja dapat mempengaruhi psikososial, salah satunya adalah kepercayaan diri. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara obesitas dengan kepercayaan diri pada siswa SMP Bruderan Susteran Purwokerto. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Bruderan dan Susteran Purwokerto sebanyak 49 siswa dan diambil secara consecutive sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah chi-square dengan alternatif uji fisher exact. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai uji sebesar 0=0,036 (p<0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu terdapat hubungan obesitas dengan kepercayaan diri pada siswa SMP Bruderan dan Susteran Purwokerto. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Obesity is an abnormal accumulation of fat that can be a risk of various diseases. Obesity in adolescence may affect psychosocial, one of them is confidence. This study aims to determine the relationship between obesity and self-confidence in junior high school students Bruderan Sisters Purwokerto. To examine the relationship between obesity and self-confidence in junior high school students Bruderan Sisters Purwokerto.This research was observational analytic survey with cross-sectional approach. Samples are junior high school students and Sisters Purwokerto Bruderan many as 49 students and taken by consecutive sampling. Analysis of the data using chi-square test alternative fisher exact. Based on the calculations, test values of 0 = 0.036 (p <0.05). Conclusion of this research that there is a relationship of obesity self confidence in junior high school students and Sisters Bruderan Purwokerto. |
