| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Skizofrenia merupakan kelainan jiwa kronis yang biasanya ditandai dengan adanya halusinasi atau delusi yang menonjol. Gejala psikotik skizofrenia umumnya muncul pada fase aktif, dimana pada fase ini pasien dapat menunjukkan gejala positif atau gejala negatif selama minimal 1 bulan. Tatalaksana standar skizofrenia adalah terapi farmakologis, namun studi menunjukkan bahwa intervensi psikososial dapat meningkatkan perbaikan klinis. Salah satu contoh dari terapi psikososial yaitu terapi musik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi musik kelompok terhadap gejala positif dan negatif pada pasien skizofrenia. Desain penelitian ini adalah quasi-eksperimental dengan metode one-group pre-test post-test design. Total subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 8 pasien yang didapatkan melalui metode consecutive sampling. Skor gejala positif dan negatif subjek dinilai sebelum dan sesudah subjek mengikuti sesi terapi musik kelompok selama 2 minggu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan skor gejala positif dan negatif sebelum dan sesudah pemberian terapi musik kelompok (p<0,05). Dari kedua jenis gejala, penurunan gejala mayoritas terlihat pada kelompok gejala negatif, sehingga dapat diasumsikan bahwa penurunan gejala pada subjek adalah karena pemberian terapi psikososial, dalam hal ini terapi musik. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Schizophrenia is a chronic mental disorder characterized primarily with hallucination or delusion. Psychotic symptoms of schizophrenia usually can be seen on the illness active phase, when patient usually exhibit a positive symptoms or a negative symptoms for at least 1 month. Pharmacological therapy is a standard therapy for schizophrenic patient, however various studies have shown that psychosocial intervention may enhance a patient clinical condition. Music therapy is an example of psychosocial therapy that can be used for schizophrenic patient. The aim of the study was to examine the effect of group music therapy on positive and negative sympyom in schizophrenic patients. This research was a quasi-experimental study using pre-test post-test design. Total sample for this study was 8 patients from consecutive sampling. Score of positive and negative symptom was measured before and after 2 session of music therapy over the course of 2 weeks. The result of the study show a significance difference between positive and negative symptoms before and after therapy session (p<0,05). Out of 2 group of symptoms monitored, the decrease of symptoms majorly seen on negative symptoms group, suggesting that the result was obtained for the administration of music therapy. |
