Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan Glukosa dan Trigliserida darah itik Tegal umur 24 minggu yang disuplementasi fitobiotik dan probiotik. Materi penelitian menggunakan 80 ekor itik Tegal umur 19 minggu yang diberi perlakuan terdiri atas : Pakan Basal (P1), Pakan basal + Kunyit 4% (P2), Pakan basal + Temulawak 4% (P3) dan Pakan basal + Probiotik 2% (P4) selama 5 minggu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperiment dengan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Peubah yang diamati adalah kadar Glukosa dan Trigliserida darah itik Tegal betina. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dengan uji lanjut Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rataan kadar Glukosa darah yaitu P1 = 130,4 ± 5,7 mg/dl, P2 = 136,0 ± 8,6 mg/dl, P3 = 133,2 ± 4,4 mg/dl, P4 = 104,4 ± 6,7 mg/dl. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa penambahan fitobiotik dan probiotik berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap kadar Glukosa darah. Hasil BNJ menunjukkan bahwa P4 (pakan basal + probiotik 2%) berbeda nyata lebih rendah terhadap perlakuan P1, P2, P3. Hasil penelitian terhadap kadar Trigliserida darah diperoleh rataan P1 = 217,142 ± 14,652 mg/dl, P2 = 202,858 ± 14,018 mg/dl, P3 = 222,856 ± 14,774 mg/dl, P4 = 222,858 ± 14,718 mg/dl. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan penambahan fitobiotik dan probiotik berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap Trigliserida Darah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah perlakuan fitobiotik dan probiotik nyata dapat menurunkan kadar Glukosa darah dan menghasilkan kadar Trigliserida darah relatif sama dalam kisaran normal.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)The aim of this research was to study the blood level of glucose and triglycerides in Tegal ducks aged 24 weeks that were supplemented by phytobiotics and probiotic. Research materials used 80 Tegal ducks aged 19 weeks that received 4 different treatments, namely : control diet (P1) ; Control diet + Curcuma domestica 4% (P2) ; Control diet + Curcuma xanthorriza Roxb. 4% (P3) ; Control diet + probiotik 2% (P4) for 5 weeks. The research method was an experiment using the Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The variables observed were blood glucose and triglycerides in Tegal ducks. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance followed with Honesty Significant Difference Test (HSD Test). The means ± SD of blood glucose level in P1, P2, P3, P4 were 130.4 ± 5.7 mg/dl, 136.0 ± 8.6 mg/dl, 133.2 ± 4.4 mg/dl, 104.4 ± 6.7 mg/dl respectively. Results of variance analysis showed that the treatments significantly affected (P<0.05) blood glucose level. Results of HSD Test showed that P4 (basal feed + probiotik 2%) were significantly different from P1, P2 and P3. The means ± SD of blood triglycerides level in P1, P2, P3, P4 were 217.142 ± 14.652 mg/dl, 202.858 ± 14.018 mg/dl, 222.856 ± 14.774 mg/dl, 222.858 ± 14.718 mg/dl, respectively. The analysis of variance showed that there was no significant (P>0,05) effect of the treatments on blood triglycerids level. It could be concluded that supplementation of phytobiotics and probiotik to diet could reduce blood glucose and maintain blood triglycerides in the normal range.
