| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengkaji pengaruh pemberian berbagai macam nutrisi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil selada, (2) mendapatkan varietas yang terbaik dari tiga varietas selada yang ditanam pada hidroponik sistem rakit apung, (3) mengetahui pengaruh interaksi antara jenis nutrisi dengan varietas terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil selada pada hidroponik sistem rakit apung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Screen house Pondok Pesantren, Dukuh Waluh, Purwokerto, dengan ketinggian tempat 100 m di atas permukaan laut. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2016 sampai Januari 2017. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah jenis nutrisi (N) terdiri dari tiga jenis, yaitu AB mix 1 (N1), AB mix 2 (N2), dan AB mix 3 (N3). Faktor kedua adalah varietas selada (V) terdiri dari tiga macam, yaitu Chris Green (V1), Fion Green (V2), dan New Grand Rapid (V3). Variabel pengamatan meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, panjang akar, volume akar, bobot basah tajuk, bobot basah akar, bobot kering tajuk, bobot kering akar, dan jumlah klorofil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pemberian berbagai macam nutrisi berpengaruh pada variabel luas daun, volume akar, panjang akar, dan bobot basah akar, nutrisi AB mix 1 merupakan jenis nutrisi terbaik untuk pertumbuhan tanaman selada secara hidroponik sistem rakit apung. (2) Varietas Chris Green (V1) menunjukkan hasil terbaik pada variabel jumlah daun, volume akar, panjang akar, bobot basah tajuk, bobot basah akar, bobot kering akar, dan jumlah klorofil. (3) Tidak ada pengaruh interaksi antara jenis nutrisi dengan varietas terhadap semua variabel. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The purpose of this study were to (1) determine the effect of nutrients on the growth and yield of lettuce, (2) find the best variety of three lettuce varieties which planted in floating hydroponics raft system, (3) to evaluate the effect interaction between nutrient type with varieties on growth and yield of lettuce in floating hydroponics raft system. This study was conducted in Screen house Darussalam’s Boarding School, Dukuh Waluh, Purwokerto, it’s site located in 100 meter above sea level. The study was conducted in October 2016 to January 2017. The experimental design used was a randomized block design factorial with two factors. The first factor was the types of nutrients consisted of AB mix 1, AB mix 2, and AB mix 3. The second factor was lettuce varieties consisted of Chris Green, Fion Green, and New Grand Rapid. Variables observed consisted of plant height, leaf number, leaf area, root length, root volume, fresh weight canopy, fresh weight root, dry weight canopy, dry weight root, and the amount of chlorophyll. The results showed that (1) nutrient aplication affected on variables leaf area, root volume, root length, and root wet weight, AB mix 1 nutrition is the best nutrients for plant growth lettuce in floating hydroponics raft system. (2) Chris Green Varieties showed the best results on variables leaf number, root volume, root length, fresh weight canopy, fresh weight root, dry weight root, and the amount of chlorophyll. (3) There were no interaction effects between nutrient type with varieties to all the variables. |
