| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Efisiensi dan Keuntungan Pada Industri Kecil dan Menengah (IKM) Batik di Kelurahan Paoman, Kecamatan/Kabupaten Indramayu, Jawa Barat”. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghitung keuntungan, margin keuntungan, tingkat efisiensi ekonomis dan membandingkan tingkat efisiensi antara industri kecil dan industri menengah serta menganalisa hubungan antara total penjualan dengan tingkat efisiensi pada IKM batik di kelurahan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara berdasarkan kuesioner. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah Net Profit Margin (NPM), R/C rasio, Independent Sample T-Test dan korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keuntungan rata-rata yang diperoleh pengusaha tiap bulan berkisar Rp1.841.667,00 sampai Rp79.671.667,00, NPM sebesar 33,38% dan tingkat efisiensi ekonomis rata-rata sebesar 1,54. Uji t menunjukkan adanya perbedaan tingkat efisiensi antara industri kriteria menengah dengan industri kriteria kecil, rata-rata tingkat efisiensi industri menengah sebesar 1,70 dan rata-rata tingkat efisiensi industri kecil sebesar 1,41. Nilai koefisien korelasi antara penerimaan dengan tingkat efisiensi sebesar 0,57. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah IKM batik di Kabupaten Indramayu perlu dipertahankan karena usaha ini telah mencapai tingkat efisiensi secara ekonomis. Tingkat efisiensi industri menengah lebih tinggi dibandingkan tingkat efisiensi industri kecil. Keunggulan yang dimiliki industri menengah adalah sudah mempunyai toko atau butik sendiri untuk menjual produknya sehingga dapat memperoleh margin penjualan yang relatif besar. Oleh karena itu sebaiknya industri kecil membuat galeri batik untuk bersama agar dapat meningkatkan penjualan, profit margin, dan efisiensi ekonomis. Diharapkan juga industri-industri kecil membuat perkumpulan batik untuk bekerja sama dan saling berbagi ilmu seperti pelatihan desain dan teknik pewarnaan sehingga para pengusaha dapat lebih berinovasi untuk produknya. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The research is titled "Analysis of Efficiency and Profits of Small and Medium Industries Producing Batik in Paoman Village, District/Regency of Indramayu, West Java". The purpose of this research is to measure profit, profit margin, level of economic efficiency of the batik enterprises as well to compare the average efficiency level between small and medium enterprises and to find out the correlation between revenue and economic efficiency of batik industry in the village. This research uses primary data obtained from questionnaire-based interview. The analytical tools include Net Profit Margin, R/C ratio, independent Sample t-test and correlation. The results showed that the average monthly profit earned ranges from IDR1,841,667.00 to IDR79,671,667.00. The average Net Profit Margin is 33.38% and the average level of economic efficiency is 1.54. t test prove the difference in the average level of efficiency between small and medium enterprises. The average efficiency level of the medium industries is 1.70 and the average efficiency level of small enterprises is 1.41. The correlation coefficient between revenue and economic efficiency is 0.57. The implication of this research is that small and medium enterprises producing batik in Indramayu should be maintained because this business has reached the level of economic efficiency. The efficiency level of the medium enterprises is higher than that of small enterprises. The advantages of the medium enterprises is that each of them has possessed their own boutiques to sell their products enabling them to reach a relatively higher profit margin. Therefore, small enterprises should share batik gallery to increase sales, profit margin and economic efficiency. It is also expected that small enterprises should create batik associations to share knowledge such as training of design and coloring techniques so as to facilitate innovations. |
