| Judul Artikel | Efek Kombinasi Ekstrak Etanol Sambiloto, Brotowali, Meniran, dan Kayumanis Terhadap Gambaran Histopatologi Gaster Tikus Wistar Hiperglikemik |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Spesies tanaman sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata), brotowali (Tinospora crispa), meniran (Phyllanthus niruri), dan kayumanis (Cinnamomum burmanii) telah terbukti secara efektif mampu menurunkan glukosa darah, namun penggunaan kombinasi keempat tanaman tersebut belum diketahui keamanannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek kombinasi ekstrak keempat tanaman tersebut terhadap gambaran histopatologi gaster tikus Wistar hiperglikemi. Sebanyak 20 ekor tikus Wistar dibagi dalam empat kelompok yang terdiri dari kelompok kontrol normal (kontrol sehat), kelompok negatif (kontrol hiperglikemi), kelompok perlakuan kombinasi ekstrak dosis terrendah (sambiloto 100 mg/kg BB, brotowali 100 mg/kg BB, meniran 200 mg/kg BB, dan kayumanis 300 mg/kg BB), dan kelompok perlakuan kombinasi ekstrak dosis tertinggi (sambiloto 400 mg/kg BB, brotowali 500 mg/kg BB, meniran 400 mg/kg BB, dan kayumanis 600 mg/kg BB). Pemberian kombinasi ekstrak dilakukan secara per oral, 30 menit setelah induksi glukosa dosis 2 g/kg BB. 24 jam kemudian dilakukan terminasi pada hewan uji dan diambil organ gaster untuk pemeriksaan histopatologi dengan metode Barthel Manja Score. Hasil data skoring dianalisis menggunakan uji one way-ANOVA dan Kruskal Wallis untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh dari kombinasi ekstrak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian kombinasi ekstrak tidak memberikan pengaruh yang bermakna terhadap gambaran histopatologi gaster berupa edema submukosa, infiltrasi sel PMN di lamina propia, dan integritas epitel mukosa dengan p-value berturut-turut adalah 0,942; 0,107; dan 0,201. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Species of plants sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata), brotowali (Tinospora crispa), meniran (Phyllanthus niruri), and kayumanis (Cinnamomum burmanii) have been shown to effectively capable of lowering blood glucose, but the safety of the use of combination of four plants is still unknown. This research aims to determine the effect of the combination of four extracts of these plants to the change of histopathological image of hyperglycemic Wistar rat gaster. A total of 20 Wistar rats were divided into four groups of normal control group (healthy control), negative group (hyperglycemic control), treatment group with the lowest dose of combined extract (sambiloto 100 mg/kgW, brotowali 100 mg/kgW, meniran 200 mg/kgW, and kayumanis 300 mg/kgW), and the treatment group with the highest dose combined extract (sambiloto 400 mg/kgW, brotowali 500 mg/kgW, meniran 400 mg/kgW, and kayumanis 600 mg/kgW). The combination of the extract administered orally, 30 minutes after induction of glucose dose of 2 g/kgW. 24 hours later performed a termination in animals test and organ gaster were taken for histopathological examination with Manja Barthel Score method. Data results are analyzed using one way-ANOVA and Kruskal Wallis test to determine if there are any influence of combination extract. The results showed that the combination of the extract did not provide significant effect on gastric histopathologic image in the form of submucosal edema, infiltration of PMN cells in the lamina propria, and the integrity of the mucosal epithelium with p-values are respectively 0.942; 0.107; and 0,201. |
