ABSTRAK

Latar belakang : Banyaknya jumlah perawat wanita terutama yang sudah menikah serta meningkatnya tuntutan dan kebutuhan hidup seiring dengan pesatnya perkembangan zaman menyebabkan wanita bekerja untuk memberikan tambahan pendapatan keluarga. Peran mereka sebagai ibu rumah tangga sekaligus sebagai perawat di rumah sakit berpotensi menjadikan wanita rentan mengalami konflik.
Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan work-family conflict dan perilaku caring pada wanita yang berkeluaga di RSUD Ajibarang.
Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional dengan desain cross sectional. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner. Sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh perawat wanita yang berkeluarga dan memenuhi kriteria inklusi, berjumlah 57 orang. Uji validitas menggunakan pearson product momen, sedangkan uji reliabilitas menggunakan Alpha Croncbach dan analisa data menggunakan Pearson.
Hasil : Hasil analisa data nilai p < 0.05 (p = 0.002) dan nilai r = -0.399. Nilai rata-rata caring 77.5 dari rentang nilai 0 – 93. Nilai rata-rata work-family conflict 9.35 dari rentang 0 – 42.
Kesimpulan : Kesimpulan hasil penelitian terdapat hubungan antara work-family conflict dengan perilaku caring dengan tingkat korelasi lemah (r = -0.399). Arah hubungan negatif dan bermakna secara statistik.

ABSTRACT

Background : The amount of woman nurses that have been married and the increasing of demand and daily need in these decade cause women work to get more family achievement. The role of them to be housewive and hospital nurse. Their role as an housewife and a nurse in the hospital has a high getting conflict.
Objective : The research is aim to know about relationship of work-family conflict and caring behavior of working women in the Ajibarang General Hospital.
Methods : The research uses observational method with cross sectional desaign. Research instrument is questionnaire. The research sample is all of the nurses women that has a family and has inclusion criteria, they are 57 nurse. Validity test of instrument is used pearson product momen, then reliability test is Alpha croncbach data analyze is used pearson.
Results : The result data analize is p < 0.05 (p = 0,002) and r value is -0.399. The average of caring value is 77.5 from distance 0 – 93, and work-family conflict 9.35 from distance 0 – 42.
Conclusions : Work-family conflict relation to caring behaviour with correlation degree is low (r = -0.399). The direction correlation is negative and there is a meaning of statistic.
