| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang: Manajemen diri penderita diabetes melitus (DM) tipe 2 dilakukan seumur hidup. Manajemen diri penyakit kronis akan sangat dipengaruhi oleh keyakinan penderita tentang makna, harapan dan tujuan hidup. Keyakinan ini seringkali terdapat dalam spiritualitas orang tersebut. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan spiritualitas dengan manajemen diri penderita DM tipe 2 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas 1 Kembaran. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif korelatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 responden. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Diabetes Self Management Questionnaire (DSMQ) dan Spiritual Involvement and Belief Scale (SIBS). Analisa data menggunakan uji Spearman. Hasil: Rata-rata skor spiritualitas penderita DM tipe 2 adalah 69,75+5,689 dari rentang skor 20-80 dan rata-rata skor manajemen diri penderita DM tipe 2 adalah 53,75+6,305 dari rentang skor 16-64. Uji Spearman menunjukkan ada hubungan yang bermakna antara spiritualitas dengan manajemen diri (p 0,000) dengan nilai r 0,590. Kesimpulan: Semakin tinggi spiritualitas maka semakin baik manajemen diri penderita DM tipe 2 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas 1 Kembaran. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background: Self management for patients type 2 Diabetes mellitus (DM) had to do for lifetime. Self management of chronic illness would influence of their belief on the meaning, hope, and purpose of life. This belief often found in the spirituality of that person. Objective: This research aimed to determine the correlation between spirituality and self-management of patients type 2 DM in work area of Puskesmas 1 Kembaran. Method: This study used an analytic correlation with cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used simple random sampling technique with the sample size of 60 respondents. The research instrument were Diabetes Self Management Questionnaire (DSMQ) and the questionnaire of Spiritual Involvement and Belief Scale (SIBS). Spearman was used to examine the correlation between spirituaity and self management. Result: The Mean of spirituality patients type 2 DM scores was 69,75+5,689 of the range of scores 20-80 and mean of self management patients type 2 DM scores was 53,75+6,305 of the range of scores 16-64. Spearman test showed that there was a significant correlation between spirituality and self management (p 0.000) with r value of 0.590. Conclusion: The higher of spirituality is the better self management of patients with type 2 DM in work area of Puskesmas 1 Kembaran. |
