| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Perkembangan teknologi membuat transportasi semakin modern, kemajuan transportasi modern menggeser transportasi yang belum modern, seperti bemo. Bemo termasuk alat kendaraan modern, hanya saja kehadiran transportasi modern membuat bemo menjadi terpinggirkan sebab bemo sudah tidak layak dipakai dan melanggar peraturan yang ada. Peneliti tertarik meneliti sopir bemo yang mampu bertahan ditengah transportasi modern. Hasil penelitian yaitu bemo di Jalan Jembatan Batu mengalami penurunan dari segi jumlah dikarenakan sudah melanggar peraturan dan bemo masih eksis disebabkan masih ada minat yang mau menggunakan bemo sebagai transportasinya, mereka hanya bermodalkan bemo sebagai mata pencaharian, dan masih adanya suku cadang yang membuat bemo tetap beroperasi. Respon pemilik dan sopir bemo terhadap perubahan sosial pada bemo yaitu mereka menyadari bahwa teknologi saat ini terus berkembang dan tidak bisa ditolak. Strategi mempertahankan bemo yaitu berjalan apa adanya dan memperbaiki suku cadang dengan cara kanibal. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini yaitu bagi pihak pemerintah seharusnya memberikan kembali surat–surat penting kepada sopir bemo hanya sampai terjadinya adanya pengganti bagi sopir bemo. Bagi para sopir bemo sebaiknya jangan terlalu berburuk sangka terhadap pemerintah dan tetap mengikuti peraturan undang–undang yang ada. Bagi masyarakat sebaiknya terus mendukung dan memberikan minat yang besar bagi sopir bemo untuk menjadikan bemo sebagai alat transportasi. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Development of technology of making transport increasingly modern, modern transport advances shifting transportation yet modern, such as the minibus. Modern vehicles including minibus, only the presence of modern transportation makes bemo become marginalized because bemo is not worthy to wear and break the rules. Researchers interested in researching the minibus driver was able to survive in the middle of modern transportation. Results of the study i.e. bemo on the road stone bridge has decreased in terms of amount due had already violated the rules and bemo still exists due to still existing interest who want to use the bemo transportation, as they only with minibus as a livelihood, and the existence of spare parts that make the bemo remains operational. The response of the owner and the driver of the minibus towards social change on a minibus that is they realize that today's technology is constantly evolving and could not be denied. The strategy of maintaining a minibus that is running what it is and fix the parts by means of cannibals. The implications of the results of this research to the Government should be giving back a letter’s is important to the driver of the minibus just until the onset of the existence of a replacement for the driver of the minibus. For the driver of the minibus should not be too surprising that berburuk against the Government and stay abreast of regulatory legislation that exist. The community should continue to support and provide a great interest for the driver of the minibus to make the minibus as means of transport. |
