| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang: Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi rendahnya pemberian ASI eksklusif adalah adanya masalah menyusui. Satu atau lebih dari tiga ibu dilaporkan mengalami satu atau lebih masalah menyusui. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Efek Modul Breastfeeding Problem Solving terhadap Pengetahuan dan Kejadian Masalah Menyusui pada Ibu postpartum. Metodologi: Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan quasy experiment non randomized pretest-postest with control group. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 40 ibu yang terdiri dari 20 ibu pada kelompok intervensi dan 20 kontrol. Kelompok intervensi diberikan intervensi modul Breasfeeding Problem Solving sedangkan kelompok kontrol tidak. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga kuesioner, yaitu data demografi, Kuesioner Pengetahuan Ibu Tentang ASI, dan Breastfeeding Experience Scale. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan independent t test dan dependent t test untuk kejadian masalah menyusui, serta uji Wilcoxon, dan Mann-Whitney untuk pengetahuan. Hasil Penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor pengetahuan (p=0,002) dan kejadian masalah menyusui (p=0,000) sebelum dan sesudah diberikan intervensi modul Breastfeeding Problem Solving pada kelompok intervensi. Selanjutnya, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor pengetahuan (p<0,001) dan kejadian masalah menyusui (p<0,001) kelompok kontrol dan intervensi saat posttest atau setelah diberikan intervensi modul Breastfeeding Problem Solving. Kesimpulan: Modul Breastfeeding Problem Solving efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan menurunkan kejadian masalah menyusui. Kata Kunci: Masalah menyusui, Pengetahuan, ASI, Modul |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Abstract Background: Breastfeeding problems influence exclusive breastfeeding practice. It has been reported that one third mothers experience one or more breastfeeding problems. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of Breastfeeding Problem Solving booklet on knowledge and breastfeeding problem of the postpartum mother. Methods: This was a quasy experimental pretest-postest with control group study. This study recruited 40 respondents who met the inclusion criteria and did not meet the exclusion criteria and divided into two group, intervention and control group, which have 20 respondents each group. The intervention group was provided Breasfeeding Problem Solving booklet and the control did not. This study used three questionnaires; they were the demographic data questionnaire, the knowledge questionnaire, and the Breastfeeding Experience Scale (BES) questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the independent t test and the dependent t test for knowledge score, and the Wilcoxon and the Mann-Whitney test for BES score. Result: The results of Wilcoxon and paired t test showed that there were a significant differences of moher’s knowledge (p=0,002) and breastfeeding problems (p<0,000) after the Breastfeeding Problem Solving booklet intervention. The result of Mann-Whitney and independent t test also showed that there were a significant differences of moher’s knowledge (p<0,001) and breastfeeding problems (p<0,000) between intervention and control group after the Breastfeeding Problem Solving booklet. Conclusion: Breastfeeding Problem Solving booklet is an effective media to increase the moher’s knowledge about breastfeeding problems.
