Indonesia) | ABSTRAKSI Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Jurusan Ilmu Komunikasi 2016 Ario Seto F1C011030 Strategi Komunikasi Unit Dikyasa Satlantas Polres Banyumas dalam Meningkatkan Keselamatan Berkendara Siswa Usia Sekolah Menengah Atas Melalui Program Police Goes To School Pada tahun 2013 Kabupaten Banyumas menempati peringkat pertama jumlah tertinggi dalam kecelakaan lalu lintas di Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Angka ini didominasi oleh pengendara sepeda motor berusia remaja (14-18 tahun). Oleh sebab itu dibutuhkan peran oleh beberapa stakeholder untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Satlantas Polres Banyumas melalui Unit Pendidikan dan Rekayasa Lalu lintas ( DIKYASA) memiliki tugas pokok untuk memberikan pendidikan lalu lintas kepada masyarakattermasuk kepasa siswa usia sekolah menengah atas mempunyai program bernama Police Goes To school. Program yang dijalankan oleh Unit Dikyasa ini merupakan program untuk datang ke sekolah-sekolah memberikan himbauan dan sosialisasi mengenai keselamatan berkendara lalulintas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi komunikasi Unit Dikyasa Satlantas Polres Banyumas dalam meningkatkan keselamatan berkendara siswa usia sekolah menengah atas (remaja)melalui program Police Goes To School. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif , pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil : 1) Unit Dikyasa memaksimalakan peran komunikator pada saat sosialisasi keselamatan berkendara kepada para siswa. 2) Polisi melakukan kerjasama dengan dinas pendidikan dengan cara memasukan materi keselamatan berkendara dan lalulintas kedalam kurikulum pendidikan dan bekerjasama membuat modul yang dipakai sebagai acuan bahan ajar. |

This figure is dominated by motorcyclists aged adolescents (14-18 years). Therefore required roles by some stakeholders to resolve the issue. Traffic Police Banyumas through Education Unit and Traffic Engineering (DIKYASA) has a fundamental duty to provide traffic education to masyarakattermasuk kepasa high school age students have a program called Police Goes To school. Programs run by Dikyasa Unit is a program to come to schools provide appeal and socialization regarding traffic safety driving. This study aims to determine how the communication strategy Dikyasa Traffic Police Unit Banyumas in improving road safety high school age students (teenagers) through the Police Goes To School. By using descriptive qualitative methods, data collection through interviews and observations. From this study, the result of: 1) Unit Dikyasa memaksimalakan communicator role at the socialization of road safety to the students. 2) Police in cooperation with the education department by entering the driving and traffic safety material in the curriculum of educational and work together to create a module that is used as a reference for teaching materials |
