Indonesia) | Konversi lahan pertanian dan ketersediaan tenaga kerja di bidang pertanian yang terbatas menjadi tantangan bagi para pengambil kebijakan untuk dapat terus memenuhi kebutuhan konsumsi penduduk. Mekanisasi pertanian dinilai mampu mengatasi permasalahan tersebut namun di lain sisi penerapan mekanisasi pertanian harus diselaraskan dengan kondisi wilayah maupun sosial ekonomi masyarakat. Evaluasi terhadap kebijakan penggunaan mekanisasi pertanian perlu dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Menganalisis perbedaan pendapatan usahatani padi pengguna hand tractor dan non pengguna hand tractor di Kecamatan Purwanegara Kabupaten Banjarnegara. (2) Menganalisis perbedaan hari kerja buruh tani dan dampak sosial ekonomi bagi buruh tani dengan adanya penggunaan hand tractor pada usahatani padi di Kecamatan Purwanegara Kabupaten Banjarnegara. Dampak ekonomi dalam penelitian ini merupakan penurunan pendapatan akibat penurunan hari kerja buruh tani, sedangkan dampak sosial dapat berupa protes buruh tani atas penolakan penggunaan hand tractor. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Purwanegara Kabupaten Banjarnegara pada Januari hingga Februari 2016. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei yaitu penyelidikan yang diadakan untuk memperoleh fakta-fakta dari gejala-gejala yang ada dan mencari keterangan-keterangan secara faktual baik tentang institusi sosial, ekonomi atau politik dari suatu kelompok ataupun suatu daerah (Nazir,2011). Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu menggunakan purposive sampling, yaitu teknik penentuan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu (Sugiyono,2012). Jumlah responden sebanyak 101 petani, terdiri atas 93 petani pengguna hand tractor dan 8 petani bukan pengguna hand tractor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Pendapatan rata-rata usahatani pengguna hand tractor lebih besar dari pendapatan rata-rata usahatani non pengguna hand tractor. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui uji-t. (2) Terdapat dampak sosial bagi buruh tani yang bekerja di wilayah pengguna hand tractor, dampak sosial tersebut merupakan dampak lanjutan dari pendapatan buruh tani yang menurun akibat adanya pengunaan hand tractor, dampak sosial yang ditemukan yaitu adanya protes buruh tani dikarenakan hari kerja mereka berkurang. |

Inggris) | Conversion of agricultural land and the availability of labor in agriculture is limited to be a challenge for policy makers to be able to continue to meet the consumption needs of the population. Agricultural mechanization considered able to overcome these problems but on the other hand the application of agricultural mechanization should be aligned with conditions of the regions and socioeconomic conditions. Evaluation of the policy of the use of mechanization of agriculture needs to be done. This study aims to: (1) Analyzing the income difference of rice farming hand tractor users and non-users of hand tractor in Sub District Purwanegara of Banjarnegara District. (2) Analyzing the difference weekday farm workers and socioeconomic impacts for farm workers with the use of hand tractor in rice farming in the district Purwanegara Banjarnegara District. The economic impact of this research is the decline in revenue due to a decrease in farm laborer working days, while the social impact can be farm workers protest over the denial of the use of hand tractor. The research was conducted in Sub district Purwanegara of Banjarnegara District in January and February 2016. The research method in this study is a survey method that investigations are held to obtain the facts of the symptoms and work out the particulars in fact well on social institutions, economics or politics of a group or a region (Nazir, 2011). A sampling technique that uses purposive sampling, the sampling technique with a certain considerations (Sugiyono, 2012). Total respondents 101 farmers, the farmers made up 93 hand tractors and 8 farmers are not the hand tractor. The results showed that (1) The average income of farming hand tractor users is larger than the average farm income of non-users hand tractor. This is proved by the t-test. (2) There are social impacts for farm laborers who work in the users hand tractor, the social impact is a continuing impact on the income of farm workers decreased due to the use of hand tractor, social impact is found that their protests farm workers because of their workday reduced. |
