| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang : Kerusakan endotel akibat hiperkolesterolemia menyebabkan penurunan kadar NO. Sari markisa ungu (Passiflora edulis var edulis) diketahui memiliki efek antioksidan sedangkan simvastatin sebagai obat standar hiperkolesterolemia diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kadar NO. Tujuan : Mengetahui efektivitas sari markisa ungu dan simvastatin terhadap kadar NO tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus) model hiperkolesterolemia. Metode : Penelitian eksperimental dengan post test only with control group design. Tikus putih jantan (32 ekor) dibagi dalam empat kelompok. Kelompok 1 (kontrol sehat), kelompok 2 (kontrol negatif), kelompok 3 (perlakuan sari markisa ungu), dan kelompok 4 (perlakuan simvastatin). Kadar NO diukur post perlakuan. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji One Way ANOVA dan Post Hoc LSD. Hasil : Rerata kadar NO kelompok 1 8,1667±0,3574 µmol/L, kelompok 2 3,8167±0,1869 µmol/L, kelompok 3 8,0833±0,4902 µmol/L, dan kelompok 4 6,4167±0,3515 µmol/L. Uji One Way ANOVA menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan (p=0,000), uji Post Hoc LSD menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan (p<0,005) antara kelompok 1 dengan kelompok 2, 3, 4; kelompok 2 dengan kelompok 3, 4; dan kelompok 3 dengan kelompok 4. Kesimpulan : Pemberian sari markisa ungu (Passiflora edulis var edulis) dosis 4,2 mL/200gBB/hari lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kadar NO dibandingkan dengan simvastatin 0,18mg/200gBB/hari pada tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus) model hiperkolesterolemia. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background : Endothelial damage that caused by hypercholesterolemia may cause the decreasing level of nitrit oxide. The purple fruit essence are known to have antioxidant effect while simvastatin as a standard drug of hypercholesterolemia predicted to increase the level of nitrit oxide. Aim : This research purposes is to know the effectiveness of the purple passion fruit and simvastatin to Nitrit Oxide level at white rat with hypercholesterolemia. Methode: This research was designed as an experimental study with post test only and control group design. The choosen white male rats as much as 32 rats divided into 4 groups. First groups as a healthy controls, 2nd group as a negative controls, 3rd group with a treatment of passion fruits essences, and the 4th group with simvastatin. Nitrit oxide level was checked post treatment. Data analysis used One Way Anova test and Post Hoc LSD. Result : The average of NO levels at 1st group is 8,1667±0,3574 µmol/L, at 2nd group is 3,8167±0,1869 µmol/L, at 3rd group is 8,0833±0,4902 µmol/L, and 4th group is 6,4167±0,3515 µmol/L. One Way Anova test showed a significant difference (p=0,000), and Post Hoc LSD test also showed a significant difference (p<0,005) between 1st group to 2nd, 3rd,and 4th group; 2nd group to 3rd and 4th group; and 3rd group to 4th group Conclussion : The provision of purple passion fruit essence (Passiflora edulis var edulis) dose 4,2 mL/200gWeight/day is more effective to increase Nitrit Oxide levels than simvastatin dose 0,18mg/200gWeight/day at white male rats with hypercholesterolemia. |
