| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui variasi larutan pulsing yang paling tepat untuk memperpanjang masa kesegaran bunga sedap malam, 2) mengetahui konsentrasi perak nitrat yang paling tepat untuk memperpanjang masa kesegaran bunga sedap malam, 3) mengetahui kombinasi variasi larutan pulsing dan perak nitrat yang paling tepat untuk memperpanjang masa kesegaran bunga sedap malam. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Agronomi dan Hortikultura Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman pada bulan Juli 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 2 faktor yang terdiri atas larutan pulsing (gula pasir 3%, 6%, 9%) dan perak nitrat (0 ppm, 40 ppm, 80 ppm), sehingga terdapat 12 kombinasi perlakuan masing-masing diulang 3 kali. Data dianalisis dengan uji F, apabila terdapat keragaman dilanjutkan dengan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis larutan berpengaruh terhadap volume larutan terserap dan panjang kerusakan tangkai, namun tidak berpengaruh terhadap persentase bunga mekar, persentase layu bunga, persentase bunga gugur, dan masa kesegaran bunga. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research aimed to: 1) determine the most appropriate solution pulsing to extend vase life of tuberose flowers, 2) determine the concentration of silver nitrate is most appropriate to extend vase life of tuberose flowers, and 3) get a combination of pulsing and the silver nitrate solution most appropriate to extend vase life of tuberose flowers. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Agronomy ang Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture, University Jenderal Soedirman on July 2016. This research used a completely randomized design with 2 factors consisting of pulsing solution (sugar 3%, 6%, 9%) and silver nitrate (0 ppm, 40 ppm, 80 ppm), so there are 12 combinations of treatment with three repetition. Data were analyzed with F test. If there were variations, then it was followed by regression analysis. The results showed that the type of solvent effect on the volume of solution absorbed and length of stalk breakage, but has no effect on the percentage of blooming flowers, flower wilting percentage, percentage of interest fall, and vase life of flowers. |
