Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Kekerasan merupakan sifat mekanis bahan restorasi yang penting. Kekerasan berhubungan dengan daya tahan bahan restorasi dalam menahan beban pada proses pengunyahan. Resin komposit bulk fill packable dikembangkan beberapa tahun terakhir, dapat diaplikasikan hingga ketebalan 4 mm. Kekerasan dapat dipengaruhi salah satunya dengan penggunaan metode penyinaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan pengaruh metode penyinaran uniform continuous cure, ramp cure, dan intermittent cure terhadap kekerasan resin komposit bulk fill packable. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 24 sampel dikelompokkan dalam 3 kelompok. Sampel berbentuk silinder dengan ukuran diameter 5 mm dan tinggi 4 mm dari bahan aluminium. Kelompok I dilakukan penyinaran dengan metode uniform continuous cure. Kelompok II dilakukan penyinaran dengan metode ramp cure. Kelompok III dilakukan penyinaran dengan metode intermittent cure. Setiap sampel dilakukan penyinaran dengan menggunakan LED selama 40 detik. Semua kelompok selanjutnya direndam dalam air distilasi dan disimpan dalam inkubator pada suhu 37oC selama 24 jam. Pengujian kekerasan pada sampel diukur menggunakan vickers hardness tester dengan beban 200 gram selama 15 detik. Uji one way anova menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan nilai kekerasan yang signifikan diantara metode penyinaran yang digunakan (p<0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode intermittent cure memiliki nilai rata-rata kekerasan paling tinggi dibandingkan dengan metode uniform continuous cure dan ramp cure.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Hardness is an important mechanical properties of dental restorative materials. It is associated with durability of the materials in holding loads during the process of mastication. Resin composite bulk fill packable that have been developed the past few years, can be applied up to a thickness of 4 mm. Hardness can be influenced by using of light curing method. This research was aimed to determined the comparison of the effect of uniform continuous cure, ramp cure, and intermittent cure light curing method to the hardness of resin composite bulk fill packable. Samples taken in this research were 24 divided into three groups. Each sample was cylindrical with a diameter of 5 mm and a height of 4 mm with aluminum material. Samples in Group I were light cured with uniform continuous method. Samples in Group II were light cured with ramp method. Samples in Group III were light cured with intermittent method. Each sample was polymerized using LED for 40 second. All groups were immersed in distilled water and stored in an incubator at 37oC for 24 hours. Hardness of the sample was measured using vickers hardness tester with a load of 200 gram for 15 seconds. One way anova test showed that there were significant differences in hardness between light cured methods used (p <0.05). The results of the research showed that intermittent cure method had the highest hardness average value than uniform continuous cure and ramp cure method.
