| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Ikan Gabus (Channa striata) adalah salah satu spesies ikan yang tersebar luas di Indonesia. Salah satu kandungan terbesar yang ada didalam ikan gabus adalah protein (52,5%) dan albumin (6,22%). Albumin bermanfaat sebagai suplemen makanan untuk pasien-pasien yang mengalami hipoalbuminea pada pasien hepatitis dan juga penyembuhan luka paska operasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui formulasi tablet Effervescent tepung ikan gabus yang memenuhi persyaratan sifat fisik bentuk sediaan tablet dan mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi PVP sebagai pengikat terhadap sifat fisik tablet effervescent tepung ikan gabus. Formula tablet dirancang dengan variasi PVP sebagai bahan pengikat yaitu F1 (2%), F2 (3%), F3 (4%), F4 (5%). Tablet diuji sifat fisiknya seperti organoleptik, keseragaman ukuran, keseragaman bobot, kekerasan, kerapuhan, waktu hancur, waktu dispersi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji ANOVA one way dan dilanjutkan analisis Least Significant Different (LSD) untuk mencari perbedaan yang bermakna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa formula yang menghasilkan tablet effervescent tepung ikan gabus yang memenuhi syarat fisik yaitu formula IV dengan konsentrasi PVP 5%. Peningkatan konsentrasi PVP pada tablet effervescent tepung ikan gabus meningkatkan keseragaman bobot, meningkatkan keseragaman ukuran, meningkatkan kekerasan, mengurangi kerapuhan, memperlama waktu hancur dan waktu larut. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Snakehead fish (Channa striata) is spread widely throughout Indonesia. They contain large amount of proteins (52,5%) and albumin (6,22%). Albumin is helpful as food supplement for hipoalbuminea in hepatitis patients and post-operative patients. This study aimed to determine the formulation of effervescent tablets from snakehead fish powder which fulfill the physical requirements of tablets and to determine the effect of PVP’s concentration as a binder toward physical properties of snakehead fish powder effervescent tablets. Formulas were designed with varieties of PVP concentration as a binder; F1 (2%), F2 (3%), F3 (4%), and F4 (5%). Evaluations of physical properties of tablets were organoleptic, size uniformity, weight uniformity, hardness, friability, disintegration time, and dissolving time. The data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA and continued with Least Significant Different (LSD) which is used to find a significant difference. The results showed that the formula which produces snakehead fish powder effervescent tablets which fulfilled physical properties requirements is Formula IV with a PVP concentration of 5%. The increment of PVP concentrations in snakehead fish powder effervescent tablets increases the uniformity of weight, increases uniformity of size, increases hardness, reduces friability, disintegration time and prolongs the dissolving time. |
