| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana eksistensi dan kegiatan komunitas ini di Purwokerto. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan sasaran penelitian mahasiswa yang bergabung dengan komunitas “Klaudie City” di Purwokerto. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan rokok elektrik (vapor) telah merambah ke kota-kota besar di Indonesia, termasuk Purwokerto sejak tahun 2014. Hal tersebut awal mula munculnya komunitas “Klaudie City” di Purwokerto. Berdasarkan penelitian yang berhasil dilakukan, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa eksistensi komunitas “Klaudie City” dimulai pada Maret 2016. Pada awal terbentuknya, komunitas ini hanyalah ajang perkumpulan mahasiswa penikmat vapor. Namun seiring berjalannya waktu komunitas ini kemudian berkembang. Hingga saat ini jumlah anggota komunitas ini berjumlah sekitar 20 anggota. Meskipun masih tergolong kecil, ikatan hubungan yang terjalin antar anggota sangat kuat dan kompak. Hal ini mereka buktikan dengan penyelenggaraan kegiatan-kegiatan vapor yang berhasil mereka diadakan. Terdapat beberapa kegiatan terkait vapor yang berhasil dilakukan oleh komunitas “Klaudie City”. Pertama adalah vapemeet, ajang bertemu masing-masing anggota komunitas “Klaudie City” di Purwokerto. Pertemuan ini biasanya diisi dengan saling berbagi ilmu seputar rokok vapor dan liquid. Berikutnya adalah Cloud Chasing Competition, Terakhir adalah jual beli vapor dan liquid yang juga merupakan kegiatan jual beli rokok elektrik sekaligus mengenalkan komunitas “Klaudie City” bagi para pengunjung mahasiswa Purwokerto. |

The method used is descriptive qualitative research targets students who join the community "Klaudie City" in Purwokerto. The sampling method used is purposive sampling. Methods of data collection using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Methods of data analysis using interactive analysis and validation of source data using triangulation techniques. The results showed that the development of electric cigarette (vapor) has expanded to major cities in Indonesia, including Purwokerto since 2014. It was the beginning of the emergence of a community "Klaudie City" in Purwokerto. Based on research performed successfully, the researchers concluded that the existence of the community "Klaudie City" began in March 2016. At the beginning of the formation, this community event sororities are just lovers vapor. But over time, this community evolved.
