| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk pemantauan jenis-jenis ektoparasit, prevalensi dan intensitas ektoparasit benih ikan cupang hias (Betta splendens Regan, 1910) di pembudidaya ikan cupang hias Ciwarak, Karanggintung, Sumbang, Banyumas. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif eksploratif dengan metode survei. Pengambilan sampel secara berkala sebanyak 5 kali selama masa penelitian dari bulan Agustus – September 2016. Total ikan sampel sebanyak 90 ekor. Pemantauan ektoparasit dilakukan di Laboratorium Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Dalam penelitian ini diperoleh tiga jenis ektoparasit yaitu, Trichodina sp, Ichthyophthirius multifiliis dan cacing monogenea dengan prevalensi masing – masing ; Trichodina sp. ; 25 – 55% ; Ichthyophthirius multifiliis 20%, dan cacing monogenea ;10 - 20%. Intensitas Trichodina sp. ; 6 – 23 ind/ekor, Ichthyophthirius multifiliis ; 4 ind/ekor dan cacing monogenea 2 – 4 ind/ekor.

Inggris) | The purpose of this research is to species, prevalence and intensity of ectoparasites on Betta fish Fry (Betta splendens Regan, 1910) in the Betta fish farmers Ciwarak, Karanggintung, Sumbang, Banyumas. The method used in this research is descriptive exploratory. Periodic sampling was done five times during the study period. Total sample of 90 fish. Examination of ectoparasites was performed Laboratory of Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Jenderal Soedirman University. The results of this research are three types of ectoparasites that is, Trichodina sp, Ichthyophthirius multifiliis and monogenean worm with prevalence; Trichodina sp. ; 25-55%; Ichthyophthirius multifiliis 20%, and monogenean worm; 10-20%. The intensity of Trichodina sp. ; 6-23 ind / fish, Ichthyophthirius multifiliis; 4 ind / fish and monogenean worm 2-4 ind / fish.
