Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)This research titled “Marketing Communication Strategy of Heartcorner Records Through Social Media”. Background of this research is the emergence of the internet is used by marketers to sell products including Heartcorner Records in marketing their products that is cassette and CD releases of music that they produce. Besides the emergence of the internet as a means to market the products of physical release, in the music scene helped develop anyway since the advent of the internet, many online sites that will facilitate us to listen to music without purchasing a physical release, either for free or prepaid. See the phenomenon of the many sites online provider of free songs that make people prefer to download than buy physical releases.
Purpose of this research is to know how the marketing communication strategy especially through social media of Heartcorner Records. The research method used is qualitative research methods to describe what is seen, heard, felt and seen. The findings of the research results obtained are Heartcorner Records prefer choose social media for marketing tools because their target consumers are youth. Youth are predicted many are using social media so can make it easier for Heartcorner Records to introduce and promoting physical release that they produce to consumers.
Social media for Heartcorner Records is a means of channeling messages according to the needs in introducing its products. Heartcorner Records have multiple accounts such as twitter, facebook, website, and instragram. Strategy Marketing Communications Heartcorner Records is to determine the price and the product is released as well, providing information via social media to consumers quickly receive in their delivery, artwork and merchendaise in releasing the product as a complement, providing excellent service to prospective customers, and also utilizing the media forum social.
