| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | ERIN DWIATMAJA, “Penggunaan sinbiotik dalam ransum terhadap konsumsi dan pertumbuhan ayam lokal jantan” telah dilaksanakan di Seloarum Farm pada tanggal 21 Desember 2015 sampai dengan tanggal 25 Januari 2016. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan sinbiotik dalam ransum terhadap konsumsi dan pertumbuhan ayam lokal jantan. Materi yang digunakan adalah ayam Sentul jantan umur delapan minggu sebanyak 60 ekor. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode eksperimental in vivo dan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan yang diuji adalah penggunaan sinbiotik terdiri atas R0 (tanpa sinbiotik), R1 (penggunaan sinbiotik 2%), R2 (penggunaan sinbiotik 4%), R3 (penggunaan sinbiotik 6%). Peubah yang dicatat dan diamati adalah konsumsi dan pertumbuhan ayam lokal jantan. Rataan konsumsi pakan hasil penelitian R0, R1, R2, R3, berturut-turut adalah 66,92, 69,57, 65,45, 69,23. Rataan pertumbuhan ayam R0, R1, R2, R3, berturut-turut adalah 293,33, 323,33, 291,67, 360,00. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan sinbiotik dalam ransum ayam Lokal jantan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi pakan dan pertumbuhan ayam. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan sinbiotik dalam ransum ayam Lokal menghasilkan konsumsi pakan dan pertumbuhan ayam Lokal jantan umur delapan minggu yang relatif sama. Inggris) | ABSTRACT ERIN DWIATMAJA, A study entilted "The influence of the use of sinbiotic in male Lokal chicken diet on feed consumption and growth.” was conducted in Seloarum Farm from December 21at 2015 until January 25at 2016. The purpose of this research was to know the influence of the use of sinbiotic in male Lokal chicken diet on feed consumption and growth. The materials used were the local male chicken at the age of eight weeks as many as 60 heads. This research was conducted by invivo experimental method, by using Completely Randomized Desidn (CRD). The tested treatments were R0 (without sinbiotic), R1 (plus sinbiotic, 2%), R2 (plus sinbiotic, 4%), R3 (plus sinbiotic, 6%). Variables that were measured were feed consumption and local growth. The average values obtained from feed consumption were 66.92, 69.57, 65.45, 69.23 for R0, R1, R2 and R3 respectively. The average values obtained from the growth male local chicken were 293.33, 323.33, 291.67, 360.00 for R0, R1, R2 and R3 respectively. The results of the analysis showed that the use of sinbiotic in the diet of male Lokal chicken had no significant (P>0.05) effect on feed consumption and local chicken growth. The conclusion from this research is, the use of sinbiotic in male Local chicken diet increases feed consumption and does not increase local chicken growth at eight-week old.
