Judul ArtikelPENGGUNAAN KONSENTRAT ALTERNATIF DARI HIDROLISAT IKAN TUNA DAN POLLARD FERMENTASI TERHADAP PROFIL LEMAK DARAH DAN KUALITAS TELUR AYAM ARAB
Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Tujuan penelitian untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan hidrolisat limbah ikan tuna dan pollard fermentasi terhadap profil lemak darah dan kualitas telur ayam Arab. Materi digunakan 60 ekor ayam Arab silver umur 20 minggu berisi 3 ekor tiap ulangan yang dipelihara selama 8 minggu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan experimental in vivo dengan empat perlakuan dan lima ulangan yaitu R0 (0% Konsentrat Alternatif), R1 (12% Konsentrat Alternatif), R2 (24% Konsentrat Alternatif), dan R3 (36% Konsentrat Alternatif). Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi (ANOVA) pada rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dan diuji lanjut dengan Uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ). Hasil penelitian diketahui penggunaan konsentrat alternatif pada ayam Arab berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) meningkatkan kandungan protein kuning telur; akan tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap profil lemak darah (kolesterol, HDL, dan trigliserida darah), dan kualitas telur (Kekuatan Kerabang, Tebal Kerabang, Bobot Kerabang, Indeks Kuning Telur, Indeks Putih Telur, Bobot Kuning Telur, Bobot Putih Telur, dan Haugh Unit). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan konsentrat alternatif sampai level 36% dapat menggantikan penggunaan konsentrat komersial dan diperoleh profil lemak darah, kualitas telur, kandungan kolesterol dan lemak kuning telur yang relatif sama, serta mampu meningkatkan kandungan persentase protein kuning telur sebesar 11,49%.

Inggris)This study aimed to evaluate the use of alternative consentrate from hidrolyzed tuna waste and fermented pollard toward lipid profile in blood and quality of the Arabian chicken eggs. The materials of this research were 60 Arabian chickens on laying period srains silver with age of 20 weeks. Each test consist of 3 replicates. All chicken were feed for 8 weks. The research method was experimental in vivo using four treatments and five replications at R0 (0% Alternative Consentrate), R1 (12% Alternative Consentrate), R2 (24% Alternative Consentrate), and R3 (36% Alternative Consentrate). Data were analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA) of the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) and followed by Honesty Significant Deference (HSD). The results were showed that the use of alternative concentrate up to 36% on levels, showed significant different (P<0.05) in increasing yolk protein; but it was not different (P>0,05) toward the lipid profile in blood (Total Blood Cholesterol, HDL, and Triglyseride) and it was not different (P>0,05) toward the physical quality of eggs (weight of eggshell, eggshell thickness, eggshell pressure, yolk index, albumen index, yolk weight, weight of albumen, and Haugh Unit). In conclusion the use of alternative consentrate up to 36% on levels were able to replace commercial concentrate without significant effect lipid profile in blood, quality of Chicken Eggs, cholesterol and fat content in yolk, and increased the precentage yolk protein at 11,49%.
