Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh imbangan pakan konsentrat dan hijauan dalam silase pakan komplit terhadap konsumsi protein kasar dan serat kasar domba lokal jantan. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 2 Agustus 2016 sampai 2 Oktober 2016 di Experimental Farm Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto, Jawa Tengah. Materi penelitian menggunakan 5 macam imbangan hijauan dengan konsentrat dalam silase pakan komplit. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimental secara in vivo dengan rancangan penelitian Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK). Perlakuan terdiri atas P1 (Rumput gajah 70% + konsentrat 26% + mineral 1,5% + garam 0,5% + urea 0,5% + molases 1,5%), P2 (Rumput gajah 60% + konsentrat 36% + mineral 1,5% + garam 0,5% + urea 0,5% + molases 1,5%), P3 (Rumput gajah 50% + konsentrat 46% + mineral 1,5% + garam 0,5% + urea 0,5% + molases 1,5%), P4 (Rumput gajah 40% + konsentrat 56% + mineral 1,5% + garam 0,5% + urea 0,5% molases 1,5%), P5 (Rumput gajah 30% + konsentrat 66% + mineral 1,5% + garam 0,5% + urea 0,5% + molases 1,5%). Peubah yang diukur adalah konsumsi protein kasar dan serat kasar. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap konsumsi protein kasar maupun konsumsi serat kasar. Berdasarkan uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ) total rataan konsumsi protein kasar (P3) berbeda sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap P5 dan berbeda nyata (P<0,05) dengan P1, namun P1 tidak berbeda (P>0,05) dengan P2, P4 dan P5. (P3 131,01 ± 4,06 g/ekor/hari vs P2 117,04 ± 3,52 g/ekor/hari vs P4 113,87 ± 18,11 g/ekor/hari vs P1 105,92 ± 7,99 g/ekor/hari vs P5 90,64 ± 10,72 g/ekor/hari). Uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ) total konsumsi serat kasar kontrol (P1) berbeda sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap P3, P4 dan P5 tetapi P1 tidak berbeda (P>0,05) dengan P2. P2 berbeda nyata (P<0,05) terhadap P3. (P1 129,96 ± 8,48 g/ekor/hari vs P2 118,83 ± 2,36). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah perlakuan 3 merupakan imbangan terbaik untuk penggemukan domba lokal jantan karna kandungan protein kasar dan serat kasarnya seimbang dan telah memenuhi kebutuhan hidup dan produksi domba lokal jantan.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)This research aimed to examine the effect of The concentrate to forage ratio of complete feed silage on crude protein and crude fiber consumptions of the local male sheep. The research was conducted from August 2nd 2016 to October 2nd, 2016 at the Experimental Farm, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, University Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto, Central Java province. The material of this research were 5 different concentrate to forage ratio in complete feed silage. The research was used experimental methods by in vivo, by using completly randomised design (CRD). The treatments consisted of P1 (Napier grass 70% + concentrate 26% + 1.5% + mineral salts urea 0.5% + 0.5% + molasses 1.5%), P2 (Napier grass 60% concentrate 36% + mineral salts 1.5% + 0.5% + 0.5% urea molasses + 1.5%), P3 (Napier grass 50% + concentrate 46% + 1.5% + mineral salts + 0.5% urea 0 , 5% molasses + 1.5%), P4 (Napier grass 40% + concentrate 56% + 1.5% + mineral salts 0.5% + 0.5% urea molasses 1.5%), P5 (Napier grass 30% + concentrate 66% + 1.5% + mineral salts 0.5% + 0.5% urea molasses + 1.5%). The parameters measured were the consumptions of crude protein and crude fiber. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance followed by honestly significant difference test (HSD). The results showed that the treatment had highly significant (P <0.01) effect the consumptions of crude protein and crude fiber. Based on the test honesty significant difference (HSD), the average of total consumption of crude protein of P3 was highly significantly (P <0,01), different to P5 and significantly different (P <0.05) to P1, but P1 was not significantly different (P> 0.05 ) to P2, P4 and P5. (P3 131.01 ± 4.06 g / head / day vs P2 117.04 ± 3.52 g / head / day vs P4 113.87 ± 18.11 g / head / day vs 105.92 ± P1 7, 99 g / head / day P5 vs 90.64 ± 10.72 g / head / day). Based on significant difference test (HSD) the average consumption of crude fiber of P1 was highly significant (P <0.01) to P3, P4 and P5 but P1 was not significantly different (P> 0.05) to P2. P2 was significantly different (P <0.05) to P3. (P1 129.96 ± 8.48 g / head / day vs P2 118.83 ± 2.36). The conclusion of this study is, the third treatment was the best concentrate to forage ratio of complete feed silage on fattening because it has the highest crude protein and crude fiber consumptions and has accomplished the maintenance and production requirement for local male sheep.
