Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Laba-laba berperan penting sebagai agensia pengendali hayati populasi serangga hama. Berbagai aktivitas budidaya yang dilakukan oleh manusia pada lahan perkebunan saat ini sangat mempengaruhi kehadiran laba-laba seperti penggunaan pupuk dan pestisida, penyiangan, pemangkasan, pemanenan, serta pola tanam. Diversifikasi vegetasi di lahan perkebunan dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai cara diantaranya monokultur dan polikultur yang masing-masing dapat mempengaruhi kelimpahan serta keanekaragaman laba-laba. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kelimpahan dan keanekaragaman laba-laba pada kebun teh dan kebun tumpang sari (teh dan stroberi) di Desa Serang Kecamatan Karangreja Kabupaten Purbalingga.
Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis untuk menentukan kelimpahan, indeks keragaman Shannon-Wiener, indeks kemerataan Evenness, dan indeks kesamaan Sorensen.
Sebanyak 575 individu laba-laba yang terdiri atas 10 famili Araneae dikumpulkan dari kebun teh dan kebun tumpang sari (teh dan stroberi), yaitu Araneidae, Clubionidae, Linyphiidae, Lycosidae, Nephilidae, Oxyopidae, Salticidae, Tetragnathidae, Theridiidae, dan Thomisidae. Famili Araneidae merupakan famili dengan kelimpahan terbanyak di kedua lahan. Kebun teh memiliki jumlah kelimpahan individu laba-laba lebih banyak dibandingkan kebun tumpang sari. Pada kebun teh didapat 379 individu dan di kebun tumpang sari didapat 196 individu. Keanekaragaman laba-laba di kebun tumpang sari lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kebun teh. Indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Wiener di kebun teh H’= 1,873, sedangkan indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Wiener di kebun tumpang sari H’= 1,975.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Spiders play an important role as a natural control agent of insect pest populations. Various activities performed by human cultivation on plantation currently affect the presence of spiders such as using fertilizer and pesticides, weeding, pruning, harvesting and cropping patterns. Diversification of vegetation in plantations can be done in various ways include monoculture and intercrop each can influence the abundance and diversity of spiders. The study was aimed to determined the abundance and diversity of spider in tea plantation and orchard intercropping (tea and strawberries) at Serang village, Sub District of Karangreja, District of Purbalingga
The method used was survey method with purposive sampling techniques, sampling was conducted by hand collecting. Data were analyzed to determine the abundance, Shannon-Wiener diversity index (H’), Evenness index (E), Simpson dominance index (D), and Sorensen similarity index (IS).
The results showed a total of 575 individual spiders consists of 10 families Araneae was collected, they were Araneidae, Clubionidae, Linyphiidae, Lycosidae, Nephilidae, Oxyopidae, Salticidae, Tetragnathidae, Theridiidae, dan Thomisidae. Family Araneidae was a family with the highest abundance in both lands. Tea plantation had a number of individuals abundance of spider higher than orchard intercropping. In the tea plantation obtained 379 individual spiders and in the orchard intercropping obtained 196 individual spiders. Diversity of spiders in the orchard intercropping higher than the tea plantation. Shannon-Wiener diversity index in the tea plantation H’= 1.873, and Shannon-Wiener diversity index in the orchard intercropping H’= 1.975.
