Judul ArtikelIMBANGAN PAKAN KONSENTRAT DAN HIJAUAN DALAM SILASE PAKAN KOMPLIT TERHADAP KONSUMSI ENERGI (TDN) DAN LEMAK DOMBA LOKAL JANTAN
Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh perbedaan imbangan pakan konsentrat dan hijauan dalam silase pakan komplit terhadap konsumsi energi dan lemak pada domba lokal jantan serta mencari imbangan konsentrat dan hijauan dengan konsumsi energi dan lemak yang tinggi pada domba lokal jantan. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 2 Agustus 2016 sampai 2 Oktober 2016 bertempat di Experimental farm Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto, Jawa Tengah. Materi penelitian menggunakan rumput gajah, konsentrat, 1,5% mineral, 0,5% garam, 0,5% urea, 1,5% tetes tebu dan 20 ekor domba lokal jantan. Metode penelitian adalah secara eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK). Perlakuan terdiri atas P1, P2, P3, P4, P5. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap konsumsi energi (TDN) dan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap konsumsi lemak. Hasil uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ) konsumsi energi (TDN) menunjukan bahwa P1 berbeda sangat nyata terhadap P5 (P1 615,07 ± 34,57g vs P5 437,88 ± 51,02g), P2 berbeda sangat nyata dengan P5 (P2 643,38 ± 10,50g vs P5 437,88 ± 51,02g) dan berbeda nyata dengan P4 (P2 643,38 ± 10,50g vs P4 551,92 ± 82,79g), P3 berbeda sangat nyata terhadap P5 (P3 655,80 ± 18,74g vs P5 437,88 ± 51,02g) dan berbeda nyata dengan P4 (P3 655,80 ± 18,74g vs P4 551,92 ± 82,79g), serta P5 berbeda sangat nyata dengan perlakuan lainnya (P5 437,88 ± 51,02g vs P1 615,07 ± 34,57g vs P2 643,38 ± 10,50g vs P3 655,80 ± 18,74g vs P4 551,92 ± 82,79g). Hasil uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ) konsumsi lemak menunjukan bahwa P1 berbeda nyata terhadap P3 (P1 45,09 ± 4,96g vs P3 55,84 ± 1,83g). Kesimpulan dari penelitian menyatakan bahwa perlakuan pakan ke 3 merupakan pakan terbaik dengan konsumsi energi (Total Digestible Nutrien) dan lemak paling banyak dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya.

Inggris)The research aimed to evaluate evaluate the effect of concentrate to forage ratio in complete feed silage on energy (TDN) and fat consumptions of male local sheep and to get the best concentrate to forage ratio to yield the highest energy (TDN) and fat consumptions by male local sheep. The research was conducted from August 2nd 2016 to October 2nd 2016 located in the Experimental farm, Animal Science Faculty, University of Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto, Province of Central Java. The materials for this research were napier grass (Pennisetum purpureum), concentrate, 1.5% mineral, 0.5% salt, 0,5% urea, 1.5% molasses and 20 male local sheep. The method of the research was an experimental, using Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD). The treatments that were tested consisted of P1, P2, P3, P4, and P5. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance followed by Honesty Significant Difference Test (HSD). The results of the research showed that the treatments had a highly significant effect (P<0,01) on energy (TDN) consumption and had a significant effect (P<0,05) on fat consumption. Based on Honesty Significant Difference Test (HSD) energy (TDN) consumption showed that P1 was high significantly different to P5 (P1 615,07 ± 34,57gab vs P5 437,88 ± 51,02gc), P2 was high significantly different to P5 (P2 643,38 ± 10,50ga vs P5 437,88 ± 51,02gc) and was significantly different to P4 (P2 643,38 ± 10,50ga vs P4 551,92 ± 82,79gb), P3 was high significantly different to P5 (P3 655,80 ± 18,74ga vs P5 437,88 ± 51,02gc) and was significantly different to P4 (P3 655,80 ± 18,74ga vs P4 551,92 ± 82,79gb), and P5 was high significantly different to other treatments (P5 437,88 ± 51,02gc vs P1 615,07 ± 34,57gab vs P2 643,38 ± 10,50ga vs P3 655,80 ± 18,74ga vs P4 551,92 ± 82,79gb). Based on Honesty Significant Difference Test (HSD), fat consumption of P1 was significantly different to P3 (P1 45,09 ± 4,96gb vs P3 55,84 ± 1,83ga). The conclusion of the research is that the treatment number 3 is the best of all with the highest energy (Total Digestible Nutrient) and fat consumptions.
