| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Secara administratif daerah penelitian terletak di Cirebon Provinsi Jawa Barat, tepatnya pada letak geografis 108040’-108048’ BT dan 6030’-70 LS. Wilayah keseluruhan dari Kabupaten Cirebon mencapai 990.36 km2 dan panjang pantai pada daerah penelitian mencapai 71.29 km2. Pada penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui perubahan garis pantai sepanjang perairan Cirebon, sedangkan tujuannya untuk mengetahui karakteristik pantai serta proses geologi yang terjadi pada dinamika pantai di wilayah Cirebon. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu pengukuran garis pantai serta melihat perubahan garis pantai di dengan digitasi garis pantai Cirebon dengan menggunakan citra landsat tahun 1978, 2005, dan 2016 dan pengukuran laju sedimentasi dengan menggunakan dating 210Pb. Litologi penyusun daerah penelitian didapat menggunakan data bor pada sekitar pantai Cirebon. Hasil pengamatan data bor pantai tersusun atas endapan lempung sisipan tuff pasiran pada bagian top dan Perselingan endapan lempung tufaan - pasir tufaan pada bagian bottom. Perubahan garis pantai hasil overlay pada tahun 1978 sebesar 73,48 km, 2005 sebesar 79,98 km, dan 2016 sebesar 70,72 km menunjukan garis pantai bertambah dari garis pantai awalnya sebanyak 6,5 km di tahun 2005 dan berkurang di tahun 2016 sebesar 9,26 km. Volume tanah timbul sebesar 104,08 km3 dan volume kehilangan tanah sebanyak 122,31 km3, menunjukan perairan Cirebon lebih banyak mengalami kehilangan volume tanah yang mendukung mundurnya garis pantai secara vertikal. Analisa dating metode 210Pb, sedimen berumur 0,735 - 11,482 tahun yang disetarakan dengan umur geologi kuarter kala holosen. Hasil konversi umur sedimen menghasilkan rata- rata laju sedimentasi vertikal sebesar 2,895 cm/tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pantai mengalami proses abrasi akibat permukaan terdiri endapan lempung yang mudah tererosi oleh gelombang dan arus, sedangkan penambahan garis pantai disebabkan oleh adanya sedimentasi yang berasal dari muara sungai. |

In this study intended to determine the change of shoreline along the waters of Cirebon, while the goal to determine the characteristics of the beach as well as the geological processes that occur in the dynamics of the beach in the Cirebon. The research method is the measurement of the coastline and see the coastline changes in 1978, 2005 and 2016 with the digitization of coastline Cirebon using Landsat imagery and sedimentation rate measurements using 210Pb dating. The observation of the drill data coastal inserts are composed of clay deposits on the top sandy tuff and tuffaceous clay deposits Perselingan - tuffaceous sand at the bottom. Changes coastline overlay results in 1978, 2005 and 2016 shows the coastline of coastline initially reduced as much as 7.13 km. Volume amounted to 104.08 km3 raised land and the volume lost ground as much as 122.31 km3, Cirebon waters showed more experience a loss of volume of soil that supports the withdrawal of the coastline. Analysis 210Pb dating method, old sediments from 0.735 to 11.482 years is equated with the Miocene to Pleistocene geological age. The conversion result produces an average age sedimentary sedimentation rate of 2.895 cm / year. The results showed the beach to experience the process of abrasion due to surface consists clay easily eroded by waves and currents, while the addition of a coastline caused by sedimentation. |
