Indonesia) | Kecepatan untuk mendapat informasi secara cepat sebanding juga dengan kecepatan dalam penyampaian informasi, hal ini disebkan oleh semakin mudah dan berkembangnya teknologi internet. Dalam kaitannya dengan penyampain sebuah informasi, jika dulu yang umum diketahui bahwa yang menyampaikan sebuah informasi atau berita atau berita adalah wartawan. Namun hal tersebut sekarang telah bergeser. Warga yang dulunya sebagai konsumen dari informasi dan berita, dengan kemudahan seseorang mengakses internet melalui telfon pintar mereka. Sekarang ikut berperan dalam penyampaian informasi, inilah yang disebut sebagai “jurnalisme warga”. Dalam perkembangan dunia jurnalisme warga.
