| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 9 Mei sampai dengan 14 Juni 2016 di Kecamatan Banjarharjo Kabupaten Brebes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui performan rerpduksi dan perbedaan performan reproduksi sapi Jawa Brebes (Jabres) berdasarkan Service per Conception (S/C), Conception Rate (CR), Non Return Rate (NRR), Calving Interval (CI) dan Lama Bunting. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode survei (survey method) terhadap peternak sapi Jabres di Kecamatan Banjarharjo. Sampel wilayah dipilih secara purposive sampling berdasarkan populasi sapi Jabres terbanyak di Kecamatan Banjarharjo, terpilih Desa Cimunding, Desa Banjarharjo, Desa Malahayu, Desa Blandongan, Desa Bandungsari, Desa Cikuya, dan Desa Cipajang. Responden harus memiliki induk sapi Jabres, kemudian dikelompokan antara yang menggunakan perkawinan alami dengan inseminasi buatan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan uji t (t-test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Rataan ± sd S/C, CR, NRR(30 hari), CI, dan Lama Bunting pada perkawinan alam secara berturut-turut adalah 1,46 ± 0,27 (n=18), 62,48 ± 18,17%, 48,99 ± 22,31% (n=18), 13,19 bulan ± 0,70 (n=73), 9,068 bulan ± 0,24 (n=73), sedangkan Rataan ± sd S/C, CR, NRR(30 hari), CI, dan Lama Bunting pada inseminasi buatan secara berturut-turut adalah 1,52 ± 0,34 (n=18), 54,13 ± 23,62% (n=18), 62,52 ± 20,25% (n=18), 13,41 bulan ± 0,88 (n=60), 9,183 bulan ± 0,31 (n=60). Uji t (t-test) menunjukkan bahwa hasil antara perkawinan alami dengan inseminasi buatan tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05). Disimpulkan bahwa performan reproduksi sapi Jabres di Kecamatan Banjarharjo Kabupaten Brebes antara perkawinan alami dengan inseminasi buatan tidak berbeda dan sudah cukup baik. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research was conducted on May 9 until June 14, 2016 in Banjarharjo District, Brebes. This research was aimed at determining the reproduction performance and differentiating the reproduction performance of Jabres cows based on Service per Conception (S/C), Conception Rate (CR), Non Return Rate (NRR), Calving Interval (CI) and pregnancy period. The research was conducted through survey method towards Jabres cow in Banjarharjo District. Sampling areas were selected through purposive sampling according to the highest number of Jabres cows population in Banjarharjo, which were located in villages of Cimunding, Banjarharjo, Malahayu, Blandongan, Bandungsari, Cikuya and Cipajang. Respondents have to own Jabres cows which were then classified into the natural breeding group and artificial insemination. The obtained data were then analyzed using descriptive analysis and the t-test. The result showed that the average ± sd% S/C, CR, NRR (30 days), CI and pregnancy period in natural breeding are consecutively 1.46 ± 0.27 (n=18), 62.48 ± 18.17%, 48.99 ± 22.31% (n=18), 13.19 ± 0.70 months (n=73), 9.068 ± 0.24 months (n=73) meanwhile the average ± sd S/C. CR, NRR (30 days), CI and pregnancy period in arcificial insemination are consecutively 1.52 ± 0.34 (n=18), 54.13 ± 23.62% (n=18), 62.52 ± 20.25% (n=18), 13.41 ± 0.88 months (n=60), 9.183 ± 0.31 months (n=60). The t-test shows that the reproduction results through natural breeding and artificial insemination is not significant (P>0.05). It can be concluded that the reproduction performance of Jabres cows in Banjarharjo District, Brebes, through natural breeding and artificial insemination is not significant and is already well-implemented. |
