Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mendapatkan isolat jamur entomopatogen serangga yang berasosiasi dengan hama WBC (N. lugens Stal.) 2) menguji kemempanannya terhadap mortalitas N. lugens Stal. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Pelindungan Tanaman dan screen house Agroekologi Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Desember 2015-Agustus 2016. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua tahapan yaitu penelitian pendahuluan rancangan yang digunakan purposive random sampling, dan uji kemempanan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non faktorial dengan 5 perlakuan dan 5 kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicoba meliputi pemberian air steril/kontrol, aplikasi jamur entomopatogen 104 spora/ml, aplikasi jamur entomopatogen 105 spora/ml, aplikasi jamur entomopatogen 106 spora/ml, aplikasi jamur entomopatogen 107spora/ml. Variabel yang diamati meliputi mortalitas WBC, waktu kematian, kepadatan spora akhir, intensitas serangan WBC. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa jamur entomopatogen yang didapatkan adalah Fusarium sp. Mortalitas WBC akibat aplikasi jamur entomopatogen Fusarium sp. sebesar 47,6 % pada kepadatan spora 106, kepadatan spora akhir tertinggi pada perlakuan jamur entomopatogen 107 yaitu 2,9x107. Jamur entomopatogen Fusarium sp. mampu menekan intensitas serangan WBC sebesar 12,96 %.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)The research aims to 1) get entomopathogenic fungal isolates associated with brown planthopper (N. lugens Stal.) 2) asses the efficacy test of mortality N. lugens Stal. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Protection and screen house Agroecology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jenderal Soedirman. The research was conducted from December 2015 to August 2016. The study consisted two stages was the preliminary study design used purposive random sampling and efficacy used randomized block design non factorial with 5 treatments and 5 replication. The treatments of this research were providing sterile water/control, application of entomopathogenic fungi 104 spores/ml, application of entomopathogenic fungi 105 spores/ml, application of entomopathogenic fungi 106 spores/ml and application of entomopathogenic fungi’s 107 spores/ml. The Variables observed were mortality of BPH, time of death, the final spore density and the intensity attack of BPH. The results showed that the entomopathogenic fungi obtained was Fusarium sp. BPH mortality due to the application of entomopathogenic fungi of Fusarium sp. was 47.6% at 106 spore density, The highest final spore density at 107 entomopathogenic fungi treatment was 2.9x107. The entomopathogenic fungi of Fusarium sp. was able to suppress the intensity of hopper attack by 12.96%.
