| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh BAP terhadap pertumbuhan stek batang kentang varietas Atlantik dan memperoleh konsentrasi yang paling baik untuk pertumbuhan stek batang melalui teknik kultur jaringan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap. Perlakuan yang dicoba yaitu: 0 (kontrol), 0,5, 1,0, 1,5, 2,0, 2,5 dan 3,0 ppm BAP. Variabel yang diamati meliputi: jumlah akar, saat muncul tunas, jumlah tunas, saat muncul akar, panjang tunas, jumlah daun dan jumlah buku. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa BAP pada konsentrasi 0,5-3,0 ppm tidak mempengaruhi jumlah tunas, jumlah buku, menurunkan panjang tunas dan jumlah akar serta menghambat saat muncul akar. Konsentrasi terbaik untuk pertumbuhan stek batang pada media kultur jaringan adalah 3,0 ppm dilihat dari saat muncul tunas dan jumlah daun. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The study aimed to assess the effect of BAP on the growth of stem cuttings of Atlantic potato variety and obtaining the best concentration for the growth of stem cuttings through tissue culture techniques. This study uses a completely randomized design. Treatments used in this research were addition of: 0 (control), 0,5, 1,0, 1,5, 2,0, 2,5 and 3,0 ppm BAP. The observed variables were number of roots, time of shoot emergence, shoot number, time of root emergence, shoot length, number of leaves and number of internodes. The results showed that the BAP at concentration of 0,5 to 3,0 ppm did not affect the number of shoots, number of internodes, decreased the shoots length and number of roots and inhibited time of root emergence. The best concentration for the growth of stem cuttings in a tissue culture medium was 3,0 ppm according to the time of shoots emergence and number of leaves. |
