| Judul Artikel | PENGARUH KOMBINASI SEKAM, SERBUK GERGAJI, PUPUK KANDANG AYAM TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL CAISIN (Brassica rapa var. parachinensis L) PADA TANAH LATOSOL |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) pengaruh kombinasi sekam, serbuk gergaji, pupuk kandang ayam terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil caisin pada tanah latosol, 2) mendapatkan kombinasi perlakuan terbaik, 3) perubahan sifat kimia tanah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Windujaya, Kecamatan Kedungbanteng, Kabupaten Banyumas pada ketinggian tempat 600 meter di atas permukaan laut (mdpl) selama 2 (dua) bulan dari bulan November 2013 sampai Januari 2014. Perlakuan yang dicoba adalah Tanah, Tanah + Sekam, Tanah + Serbuk Gergaji, Tanah + Pupuk Kandang Ayam, Tanah + Sekam + Serbuk Gergaji, Tanah + Sekam + Pupuk Kandang Ayam, Tanah + Serbuk Gergaji + Pupuk Kandang Ayam, Tanah+ Sekam + Serbuk Gergaji + Pupuk Kandang Ayam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 8 kombinasi perlakuan termasuk kontrol dan dengan 3 ulangan yang dimana setiap unit kombinasi terdiri dari 2 sampel. Variabel yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, luas daun, warna daun dan jumlah daun, berat akar segar, berat tajuk segar, berat akar kering, berat tajuk kering. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji F dan jika signifikan, uji dilanjutkan dengan menggunakan Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf kesalahan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kombinasi perlakuan sekam, serbuk gergaji dan pupuk kandang ayam berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, bobot tanaman segar, bobot akar segar, bobot tanaman kering, bobot akar kering caisin. Kombinasi perlakuan terbaik yaitu pada perlakuan tanah+pupuk kandang ayam. |

Inggris) | This research is aimed to 1) reveal the influence of huks, sawdust and chicken manure to the growth and production of mustard green (Brassica rapa var. parachinensis L) on latosol 2) find out the best combination treatment for increasing growth and production of mustard green (Brassica rapa var. parachinensis L) 3) figure out the chemical changes of soil. This research was conducted at a screen house for 2 (two) months from November 2013 to January 2014 in Windujaya Village, Kedungbanteng District, Banyumas at the altitude of 600 meters above sea level. The researcher applied the treatments as follow: soil, soil+husk, soil+sawdust, soil+chicken manure, soil+husk+sawdust, soil+husk+chicken manure, soil+ sawdust+chicken manure, soil+husk+sawdust+chicken manure. The Method of the research was Randomized Block Design (RBD). There were 8 combinations of treatments (including control) which were repeated three times. Each unit combination consisted of two polybag samples, so the number of experiment polybag were 2 x 24 = 48 polybags. The observed variables were height, leaves area, leaves colour, and quantity of leaves. While the observed production variables were fresh root weight, fresh crown weight, dry root weight, and dry crown weight. The data then analyzed by using variety analysis to diversity the influence of treatment on observed variables. If the variety among treatments are significant, the process was continued to DMRT with 5% of error rate. The research shows that the combination of husk, sawdust, and chicken manure, are able to exert an influence on plant height, quantity of leaves, leaves area, fresh weight of plant, fresh root weight, dry plant weight, and dry root weight. Thus, “Treatment soil+chicken manure” is the best treatment on latosol soil and mustard green. |
