Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Latar Belakang: Pengetahuan dan sikap tentang indikator Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) yaitu mencuci tangan dan menggosok gigi sangat penting. Namun mencuci tangan dan menggosok gigi pada usia sekolah dasar kurang terlaksana dengan baik, sehingga peneliti tertarik melakukan kajian promosi kesehatan dengan menggunakan permainan kartu arus agar pengetahuan dan sikap siswa dapat meningkat.
Tujuan: Mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh permainan kartu arus dengan ceramah terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap mencuci tangan dan menggosok gigi pada siswa kelas III.
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan quasi experiment dengan rancangan randomized pretest-posttest with control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara random sampling dengan sampel masing-masing kelompok 20 anak. Data penelitian diperoleh menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji t berpasangan dan t tidak berpasangan.
Hasil: Karakteristik responden usia pada kelompok kartu arus dan ceramah nilai median 9 tahun dan responden berjenis kelamin laki-laki (50%). Perbedaan rerata pengetahuan dan sikap mencuci tangan kelompok kartu arus (p=0,001) dan (p=0,002), pengetahuan dan sikap menggosok gigi (p=0,000) dan (p=0,003). Sedangkan pengetahuan dan sikap mencuci tangan pada kelompok ceramah (p=0,169) dan (p=0,541), pengetahuan dan sikap menggosok gigi (p=0,061) dan (p=0,243). Pengetahuan mencuci tangan dan menggosok gigi antara kelompok kartu arus dan ceramah (p=0,045) dan (p=0,026). Sedangkan nilai p sikap mencuci tangan dan menggosok gigi yaitu (p=0,091) dan (p=0,762).
Kesimpulan: Permainan kartu arus berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap mencuci tangan dan menggosok gigi pada kelompok kartu arus. Terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan mencuci tangan dan menggosok gigi antara kelompok kartu arus dan ceramah. Tidak ada perbedaan sikap mencuci tangan dan menggosok gigi antara kelompok kartu arus dan ceramah.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Background: Knowledge and attitude on the indicators of Clean and Healthy Behavior (Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat) is that hand washing and tooth brushing are very important. However, hand washing and tooth brushing at primary school age are not well implemented, so that the researcher is interested in conducting a research of health promotion by using the flow card game in order to increase knowledge and attitude of the students.
Objective: To determine the difference influence of flow card game with lecture on the changes of knowledge and attitude of hand-washing and tooth brushing of the students in class III.
Method: This research was a quasi experiment research with randomized pretest-posttest with control group design. The sampling technique used was random sampling with the sample of each group of 20 children. Data were obtained using a questionnaire. Data analysis in this research used paired t test and unpaired t test.
Result: The characteristics of respondents in terms of age in the flow card with lecture group had median value of 9 years old and the respondents were male (50%). The mean difference between knowledge and attitude of hand washing in the flow card group was (p=0.001) and (p=0.002), knowledge and attitude of tooth brushing was (p=0.000) and (p=0.003). While the knowledge and attitude of hand washing in the lecture group was (p=0.169) and (p=0.541), knowledge and attitude of tooth brushing was (p=0.061) and (p=0.243). Knowledge of hand washing and tooth brushing between flow card and lecture groups was (p=0.045) and (p=0.026). While p value of hand washing and tooth brushing attitude was (p=0.091) and (p=0.762).
Conclusion: The flow card game had influence on the increasing knowledge and attitude of hand washing and tooth brushing in the flow card group. There was difference knowledge of hand washing and tooth brushing knowledge between the flow card and lecture groups. There was no difference of hand washing and tooth brushing attitude between the flow card and lecture group.
