| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang : Kulit batang Duku (Lansium domesticum corr) mengandung senyawa dengan sifat insektisida, yaitu alkaloid, saponin dan flavonoid. Kandungan senyawa tersebut dimungkinkan dapat menjadi potensi sebagai insektisida nabati. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas ekstrak kulit batang duku sebagai anti nyamuk semprot terhadap kematian nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Metodologi : Desain penelitian adalah Post Test only Control Group Design dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dimana percobaan dilakukan dengan 6 kali pengulangan. Terdapat 4 perlakuan penyemprotan terdiri dari kontol (aquades), ekstrak kulit batang duku konsentrasi 25%, 35%, dan 45%. Hasil Penelitian : Knockdown Time 90 dicapai ekstrak kulit batang duku pada konsentrasi 45%. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan pada kelompok percobaan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi konsentrasi ekstrak kulit batang duku (Lansium domesticum corr) maka semakin tinggi efektivitasnya terhadap kematian nyamuk Aedes aegypti dengan rata-rata kematian tertinggi ada pada konsentrasi 45%. Lethal Concentratiton 50 berada di konsentrasi 37,15%. Kesimpulan : Konsentrasi ekstrak kulit batang duku (Lansium domesticum corr) yang paling efektif untuk membunuh nyamuk Aedes aegypti adalah konsentrasi |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background : Duku (Lansium domesticum corr) stem bark contains compounds with insecticidal properties, namely alkaloids, saponins and flavonoids. These compounds can be a potential alternative as plant-based insecticide. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Duku stem bark extract as an anti-mosquito spray to the death of the mosquito Aedes aegypti. Methods : Design of this study used Post Test only Control Group with complete random sampling. The study was conducted with six repetition. There were four spraying treatment consisting of control (aquades), extract of Duku stem bark concentration of 25%, 35% and 45%. Result : Extract of Duku stem bark reached knockdown time 90 at concentration of 45%. Based on statistical analysis result, there was significant effect of the extract on treatment’s groups. So it can be concluded that the higher the concentration of extract of Duku stem bark (Lansium domesticum corr) leads to the higher its effectiveness against death of mosquitoes. The mean of highest number of mosquito’s death showed in the concentration of 45%. In addition, the Lethal concentration 50 extract of Duku stem bark reached at the concentration of 37.15% Conclusion : The most effective concentration of Lansium domesticum corr stem bark extract to kill the mosquito Aedes aegypti was 45% |
