| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Budidaya kentang di dataran tinggi Indonesia umumnya menggunakan guludan vertikal dan pupuk kimia secara terus menerus, sehingga menyebabkan erosi dan penurunan kesuburan tanah. Penerapan guludan horizontal dengan kombinasi mulsa dan pupuk organik, dalam sistem tumpangsari dengan tanaman tahunan berpotensi efektif mengendalikan erosi dan menjaga kesuburan tanah pada lahan kentang serta meningkatkan produktivitas kentang. Namun, hal tersebut belum banyak dikaji dan dipublikasikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pertumbuhan tanaman dan hasil kentang atlantik yang ditanam pada sistem guludan horizontal dan tumpangsari teh dengan variasi pupuk dan jenis mulsa. Penelitian tersebut dilaksanakan di Desa Pandansari, Kecamatan Paguyangan, Kabupaten Brebes dan di Laboratorium Tanah dan Sumberdaya Lahan UNSOED. Dua faktor perlakuan yang diteliti adalah jenis pupuk dan jenis mulsa, dengan kombinasi sebagai berikut: pupuk organik-mulsa plastik (P1M1), pupuk organik-mulsa jerami (P1M2), pupuk organik-tanpa mulsa (P1M0), pupuk anorganik-mulsa plastik (P2M1), pupuk anorganik-mulsa jerami (P2M2) dan pupuk anorganik-tanpa mulsa (P2M0). Variabel yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun majemuk, jumlah batang, leaf area index (LAI), bobot basah biomasa, bobot kering biomasa, bobot dan jumlah umbi segar hasil panen. Analisis data hasil penelitian menggunakan uji F. Kombinasi P1M0 menunjukan hasil tertinggi terhadap tinggi tanaman sebesar 67,17 cm dan jumlah daun majemuk sebanyak 19 helai dan kombinasi P2M0 menunjukan hasil tertinggi terhadap jumlah batang sebanyak 3,7 batang, berat umbi segar hasil panen sebesar 3376,05 g, berat basah biomasa sebesar 923,58 g dan berat kering biomasa sebesar 350,52 g. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Potato cultivations in the highlands of Indonesia generally use vertical ridge and chemical fertilizer continusly resulting in erosion and decreased soil fertility. The application of horizontal ridge with the combination of mulch and organic fertilizer, in the intercropping system with annual crops have an effective potential in controling erosion and maintaining soil fertility in the potato farms, and also improving crop productivity. However, it has not been widely studied and published. The purpose of this study was to identify the growth of the plants and the result of atlantic potato using horizontal ridge system and tea intercropping system. The study located in the Pandansari Village, Paguyangan, Brebes and in the Laboratory of Soil and Land Resources of UNSOED. The treatment factors studied in this research were the type of the fertilizer and the type of the mulch, with a combination: organic fertilizer-plastic mulch (P1M1), organic fertilizer-rice straw mulch (PIM2), organic fertilizer-without mulch (P1M0), inorganic fertilizer-plastic mulch (P2M1), inorganic fertilizer-rice straw mulch (P2M2), inorganic fertilizer-without mulch (P2M0). The variables measured were plant height, stem diameter, the number of leaves, the number of stem, leaf area index (LAI), wet weight biomass, dry weight biomass, the weight and the amount of fresh tuber crops. The data analysis used in this research is F-test. The combination of P1M0 showed the highest result on the plant height (67,17cm) and the number of leaves (19 strands of leaf). The combination of P2M0 showed the highest result on the number of the stem which is 3,7 cm and the weight of freshly havested tuber crops yield by up to 3376.05 g, with wet weight biomass of 923.58 g and dry weight biomass of 350.52 g. |
